NFC West Q&A: Who will be the division MVP?
By ESPN.com staff

Today's question: Who will be the division MVP?

Josh Weinfuss, Arizona Cardinals: As much as I'd like to go with newly acquired Seahawks tight end Jimmy Graham, who is a game-changer, this is a quarterback-driven league. Graham will only make Russell Wilson better, and being the QB for the best team in the division pays dividends. Big dividends. As in being the NFC West's MVP.

Nick Wagoner, St. Louis Rams:
At some point, probably in the near future, Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch is going to have to slow down. But it says here that this won't be the year. After all of the post-Super Bowl kvetching about Lynch not getting the ball on Seattle's final offensive play, Lynch figures to be as motivated as ever. Since 2011, Lynch has played in at least 15 games with a minimum of 280 carries and had at least 1,204 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns in every season. He was actually better in 2014 than he was in 2013. Things can go south in a hurry for running backs, but Lynch remains the standard-bearer in this division and around the league.

Paul Gutierrez, San Francisco 49ers: Wilson. I would've said Lynch, but he won't talk at his MVP news conference. All kidding aside, Wilson is the point man for the best team in the NFC, which just happens to be in the NFC West. If he can figure out a way to make everyone happy in Seattle's offense, from Lynch to Graham to the receiving corps, he doesn't just deserve the division MVP, he should receive the Noble Peace Prize. There are no signs that point to Wilson falling off. He's still mobile, still capable and still able to be effective with his arm and feet. And that will make him the MVP.

Terry Blount, Seattle Seahawks: Most people probably would say Lynch, but I'm going with Wilson. Frankly, I think Wilson is the most underrated QB in the league. With Graham now part of the offense, Wilson has more options and will find more receivers open at key moments. If the unthinkable happens and Wilson enters the season without a new contract, he's going to feel like he has something to prove. He doesn't, of course. His numbers speak for themselves. His 98.6 passer rating is the fourth-best in the NFL over the past three seasons. His 15 fourth-quarter/OT comebacks are the most in the league since he arrived. And his 42 victories are the most of any QB in NFL history over his first three seasons. There is no limit to what this man can accomplish.
