wifey and I were talking sabout what we were doing when we first heard about the attacks.

I remember having my whole roofing crew gathered around the company truck listening to a.m. radio trying to get some news on what the cause was. Then the second plane hit. Told the guys to tarp the roof...we were all going home to our families

I was a teenager at the time and Desert Storm was the most recent military action, which was over as soon as it started, I found it unfathomable that the United States could be attacked at the time. When I heard the news, my first thought was "what a terrible pilot."

I was in the hospital holding my one day old daughter watching the news when the second plane hit. My wife was hysterical saying, " what kind of world have we brought our child into?". I had to turn it off for awhile.

7th grade, in math class (2nd period) and my friend John goes "did you hear what happened?" I go no, "2 planes hit the twin towers." Which I felt scared, because just 2 months before I was in New York looking at them from the Statue of Liberty. And now, they are gone. Rest of the school day we just watched the news.

This past June, I visited the WTC Memorial. It's a beautiful, eerie, sad, and prideful site all at the same time.

Dude, so was I! Ours was born on the 7th by cesarean so we were going home on the 11th. I was in a no-sleep stupor loading the car. I kept passing a crowd around the TV. My last trip they were in a prayer circle. I went to our room and turned on the TV and freaked.

Fortunately, my wife was drugged.

What hospital were you in?

Most amazing presentation on what happened in New York on that day was by Dr. Judy Wood.

Remember how we kept asking, "Why is there so little rubble"?

She attempts to answer that.

I'll never forget it either. I was conducting a funeral for a friend's father. I didn't get to see much of the incident until after 6:00 PM that day and when I did see it my mind couldn't actually grasp it. I was dizzy for a while cuz my brain couldn't process it.

Oh god, dude, no. Dr. Judy Wood is a loon who presents false assumptions to support impossible theories.

One of the more fascinating pieces of evidence is the "WTC Spire" video and photographic evidence. As one of the towers collapsed it left standing erect a very tall and large portion of a steel column. It hangs there for a few seconds, seems to sway and then begins to come apart, turn to ash and faint away. It's important to note that this remaining steel column is very tall and dust has not had enough time to settle on it yet. Below is a picture to give you some context as to how big and high this remaining piece was.

And here's a closeup shot of what you'll see in video form;

Then the video of that steel column just turning to dust.

Notice how the steel and concrete column just simply turns to dust? Then, another.

In the video above, simply pick out some pieces of the building and follow them all the way down. Watch as the dust starts out thick and changes color as the objects lose their size and shape. Some even seem to completely vanish/turn to dust.

I think this is disrespectful to the families of the people who died that day. Putting a video up in this thread that has that kind of out of the realm of reality content is in poor taste.

We know what brought the towers down. It wasn't voodoo or witchcraft, it was two planes.
