Suh handled himself well. It had to chafe him a little to keep answering questions about AD on a day that was supposed to be about him. I don't think he intends to play in anyone's shadow.
Cue the berserker song from ClerksGood point.
126 games, 126 starts. Durability! Intelligent, soft-spoken but a berserker when the whistle blows. Love it.
Suh knew he'd be getting questions about AD. I doubt it bothered him one bit. If it did to the point where its a problem then we may have made a mistake.
I think it will be a huge motivator lining up next to the new king. Its a rare situation for an athlete to be in and I think it will pay out in spades for suh, AD and the rams. Remember, not long ago suh was called the best DT in the game and now that moniker belongs to man lining up next to him.
I think suh may have a career year.
I think it's clear he doesn't intend to play in anyone's shadow. I don't think it really bothered him though. Hell - I thought the questions were pretty tame for the most part. I'm kind of half surprised some jackass didn't ask him how much the other teams were offering. Anyway, it seems that the overall situation was a fit for him. AD is part of that overall fit. I just think he is a little smarter than to be cornered into the singling out of one player.Suh handled himself well. Peters on the other hand freaks me out a little. Watched the chiefs jets game last night and he could care less about stopping the run. Then the whole throwing the flag team.
Best thing I saw in the Peters interview (on NFL Network after he became a Ram) was how he reacted to the question about throwing the flag. He was clearly embarrassed and remorseful.Peters on the other hand freaks me out a little. Watched the chiefs jets game last night and he could care less about stopping the run. I don't expect Peters to not work out, but we also have Sam Shields in reserve....an embarrassment of riches...Best thing I saw in the Peters interview (on NFL Network after he became a Ram) was how he reacted to the question about throwing the flag. He was clearly embarrassed and remorseful.
Really seemed like a huge mistake that he actually learned from.
Made me hopeful that he’s maturing a bit. We’ll see.
