- When I used to watch the discount double check commercials, I thought that fat curly headed dweb cheesehead who chased Rodgers was an actor playing a role. I have come to realize that guy isn't an actor, he is just a typical Packer fan. Had a group sitting in my section. You would think we were battling it out for the NFC title game. Just imagine a group of the get low and stick um guys sitting behind you rooting for the Packers. Obnoxious.

- Bradford passed the test. I'm excited to see what he can do this year.

- Quick made me really excited about his future. You hear all the great camp stuff, but you just want to see it in games. The guy is building confidence. I think he will break out in 2014.

- We have major depth issues with our offensive line. I think we will have to scour the waiver wire to fill out our offensive line depth. Hooey sucks badly. I feel bad for the guy.

- I'm concerned about our defense. Last year I was the conductor of the vanilla train. Then the regular season comes along and we looked as bad as we did in preseason. Defense needs to really pick it up.

- Hate seeing Pead go down. Does anybody know Britt's status?

- It was my first time using my season tickets and I really like my seats. Can't wait for the season to start.

Lotta Packers fans out there, and since I was forced to watch the Packers' broadcast of the game, they felt it was necessary to show all of them all of the time. Britt, according to reports, just has a stinger. Looked bad when he walked off with a dead arm, but it seems it was just a nerve.

Good to hear about Britt. They sure don't show many replays in preseason or follow up on anything during the game very well.

I haven't had a chance to re-watch the game yet, but I didn't notice Hooey struggling as much when he was at RT. I watched him pretty closely when he was in there. Obviously, he cannot handle being at LT. Hasn't taken any reps there in training camp. The oline isn't nearly as thin as most want to claim it is, when you consider that they still had 2 starters NOT play a snap, and a 3rd out of position. It has a trickle down effect when you are moving guys up, and then you give so many reps to guys on the 2nd unit who are really 3rd unit players.

Wanted to add this, I know Robinson gave up some pressure, but the kid is going to be special. The guy is a freak. He needs more seasoning and we will be able to hide his weaknesses at OG. He wasn't my first 3 choices for the second pick, but he will be a great one for us. This isn't Jason Smith 2.0.

Also I don't think Westbrooks or Sam will get cut. Either they both make the team or one of them will get traded. Westbrooks had some great plays in the run and pass game today. Personally with Hayes and Simms being free agents after the year I do what I can to keep both. Both look line solid rotational DEs.

He gave up a sack at RT I believe. Either a sack or a quick pressure. He had a penalty.

Seems kind of a BS move to give a guy no reps at LT then toss him to the wolves come game time.
Person played the whole game. Looked solid at LT and C.
The top 8 spots are locked down I would think.

I don't think there is any cause for worry as of yet. This defense is only functioning at full capacity with Laurinaitis. Williams is just hiding his plans until the season starts so nobody gets a jump on how to counter them. I can tell they are just using the preseason base cover 2 defense to watch each player's individual development, awareness, execution, ability, and chemistry with stopping the offense being a secondary intention.

JL55's importance to this defense is grossly undervalued.

I was in Arizona when the packers played the Kurt Warner led Cards in the playoffs a few years back. I was at the bar IN ARIZONA and it was half AZ fans, and half snowbird packers fans. Most obnoxious people on earth, seriously. I'm so glad AZ won, and shut up those loud rude bastards.

I too beat the vanilla drum. On offense though, we were not vanilla. I was surprised at the aggressive passes from Bradford. Happily surprised.

Our defense definitely needs JL. I'm starting to believe, that he is our most important player on the d. I thought it was Quinn, but my beliefs have changed.

Try living in a town where 50% are packers fans, 40% seahawks fans (most converted after the last 2 years) and 9.9999% are cowboys fans. They all are so obnoxious. There is 0.0001% (5) Rams fans in town.

Probably due to Lambeau having a long ass season ticket waiting list, Packers' fans just buy tickets in other markets and go there. That's what I experienced last year in the preseason. Though, the best moment I've had involving an opponent's fan was last season vs the Bears. There was a guy wearing a Rodgers jersey, and the crowd started chanting, "Green Bay sucks".

a few years ago during the regular season Rams played the Packers and the Landing was over run with Packer fans, but of course the Rams really scked at the time. After talking to a few Packers fans they stated what was already said somewhere above, there is such a long waiting list for tickets in GB, alot of people go to away games. Travel agents and such also do package deals for hotels, travel and game tickets.

There was a guy walking around selling T shirts and came over to where we were tailgating. The front of the shirt read '"Brett Farve Sucks" and the back said "Aaron Rodgers swallows" wish I still had the pictures !!!

My daughter and her family went to the game as our grandson is a Packer fan. Probably just to get under mine and his dad's skin! He'll come around once the Rams start kicking butt this year! They'd better so he'll stop the yammering!

Didn't have a chance to make it to any of the preseason games this year because of work. Kinda disappointing even though it's just preseason. I had Rams fans in my seats though (y) Can't wait to hear the improved sound system. I will not be missing a single reg season game, home or away though, that's a guarantee.

And yes, Packer fans are obnoxious as fuck in St. Louis. Just about as bad as 49er fans... Seriously. When the Cardinals left Stl, a lot of people from my generation raised w/o a team gravitated to them and Brett Seahawks. Now they consider themselves die hard Packer fans, even though during the GSOT they were Ram AND Packer fans.:palm:
