If you have time, please check out my new song "Captive". Let me know if you love it, hate it, and criticism is always welcome. Thank you so much and I hope you enjoy it.

LYRICS:

Follow me home, It’s dark and made of stone.
I can’t stop now and I won’t let you go.
My angry voice and your pain begins to start.
You cry for help, someone to heal your heart.

You’re a captive of this love.
And you’re trying to hold on.
But you’re captive, all alone.
You’re a victim, afraid to run.

Did you feel the storm crash the city night?
The pouring rain and the thunderous fight.
Your blood is cold right down to the core.
I’ll leave you here to suffer some more.

You’re a captive of this love.
And you’re trying to hold on.
But you’re captive, all alone.
You’re a victim, afraid to run.

Tried to listen but got this...

Sorry! We can't find that track.
Did you try to access a private track, but were not logged in?
Maybe the track has been removed.

Just had a listen - pretty cool

Would have likes more dynamics with the music especially at the chorus

For sure. I have thought about adding harmonies to the chorus, but I might change it entirely so it's different from the intro and a little more catchy.

It sounds like the vocals are competing with the guitar volume wise.

Are you using a live drummer or a drum machine? I'm currently deciding between buying an Alesis SR-18 or a Boss Dr 880. Programming the drums measure by measure on the FL Studio 10 has become tedious.

Like your music very much. You're one talented dude. (y)
