Yesterday, a co-worker of mine had a really bad day. He stops at the same convenience store all the time to drink coffee and shoot the breeze with a girl that works there. Yesterday, he talks her into going for a ride in his truck across the GA/FLA line. She asks him to stop because she suddenly has to pee. She gets out, does her business, and before she can get back in, she becomes ill. She starts throwing up and becomes too weak to get back in the truck. He has to help her back into the passenger seat when she tells him she is extremely hot. He turns on the AC but she says that is not helping. She then slumps over in the seat unresponsive. He tries to awaken her to no avail. He then realizes she is not breathing. He calls 911 and hauls ass to the hospital. But by the time he gets there, she is DOA.
The rest of my co-worker's day is spent answering questions for the police and wondering what to tell his wife. Yeah, he's married. He claims he has never touched the girl, that they were just friends, and that was the very first time they had been together outside of the convenience store. Of course, his wife is having nothing of the story and has left the house. What a shit storm for the ol boy!
