It's been his MO every year so far. Great player that's a little small to play the position. Live by the sword, die by the sword. I still expect AZ to make the playoffs especially since they have one of the easiest NFL schedules
Actually the balance of power has totally shifted in the NFC West in the last week. It wasn't something that the Rams could have counted on, but it's happening.
JJ Watt goes down for the season, probably taking much of the wind out of the Cards' defense with him. DeAndre Hopkins, like Watt a great player, not only has hamstring issues but kept inserting himself in the GB game without Kingsbury's permission. Including on the last play, when by compounding the breakdown in chain of command the Cards snatched defeat from the jaws of victory against GB with a scrambled audible and sudden dementia from AJ Green. Now Murray is limping.
Meanwhile the Rams overtake, reverse, and win the pass rusher arms race in the West by signing Von Miller.
Not the same division race as two weeks ago. Seahawks are out of it, Niners all but gone. Rams have to beat the Cards and Niners and Seattle again, but we're back in control of our own destiny.
Von Miller's move, Derrick Henry's broken foot and the Packers' defeat of Arizona has produced quite the midseason shakeup.
