Wendell Tyler is my choice.

Younger fans know nothing about this guy because his time with the Rams was before their time. He was a star RB at UCLA (ughh!), and he was uber talented. He was so good in many ways as a RB, but for me it was all undone by his tendency to swing his arm wide with the football out in space. I know it helped him to maintain balance, but I remember watching that swinging football arm as he wound through defenders.I would scream at the TV for him to tuck the d@mn football in! But he rarely did. It may have seemed to happen more than it actually did, but I know it happened more than once: Tyler would be in the midst of a spectacular run, and it was like a nightmare-slow-motion sequence where I see the defender coming and I knew he would hit that arm and dislodge the football. I was a kid at the time and I would scream in agony when he did this.

Maybe another scary choice is for a guy outside of the football field, which was Lawrence Phillips

Well I remember being fearful that Toby Wright was going to kill himself or somebody with his hits.

And any hit Sam Bradford took made me cringe until he got up.

Honorable Mention:
Passes to Lance Kendricks , Jared Cook, or Roland Williams.

Come on this is easy...Todd Kinchen....Was always afraid of something going wrong when he touched the football, but he sure made things interesting.

he was going to be my contribution. I liked him also. Exciting things seemed to happen when he had the ball...both good and bad.

How about watching Craig Dahl try to tackle.....

I used to be afraid whenever Bulger got into open field, or threw an interception and attempted to make a tackle. He had such skinny legs I alsways cringed and thought he'd be done if he exposed himself in the open field.

I didn't have the privelage of watching Deacon Jones play other than watching highlights and watching interviews but from what I've seen, his menacing on-field play should've warranted him having to wear this sticker on his helmet..

LoyalRam,
From your lips to Yah's ears. I well remember literally holding my breath when Mr. Tyler would get the ball and especially when he was in traffic.
Heh.....it would absolutely frost me that when asked about his fumbling issues he would say something along the lines of "All the good backs fumble...."

Gaahhhh that drove me nuts!!!!

At any rate just about when I'd had about enough of him he would break a long one or make a big play and, you know, all was forgiven.....sorta......until the next fumble of course.

Janoris Jenkins. Good player, but always took risks. Either he was going to jump a route and get a pick or he was going to get burned. Kinda sucks he had a great year for the Giants; he finally had a true "clamp" season.

Az-Zahir Hakim was insanely fast and an elusive runner, but he had inconsistencies fielding punts and catching the ball.

December 30, 2000 - NFC Wild Card.

The Rams trailed the Saints 31-7 with 11:57 left in the game, but Kurt Warner and the offense staged a miraculous comeback. Warner connected with Proehl and Faulk for touchdowns and ran one in himself to bring it back to a 31-28 game. After a failed onside kick, the Ram defense stopped the Saints with 1:51 to go. But before the offense could step onto the field, Hakim muffed the punt on the 8 yard line.

New Orleans recovered and ran out the clock.

think it was a Monday night game against Indy.... Rams were winning until Bulger threw an INT and then tried to stop the runner with his shoulder,,,, in comes Jamie Martin and there goes the game.. Rams scored 8 after halftime and Colts scored 21 or something like that
