Maybe now the media will stop lying that LA does not support the Rams.

Remember just last year how the media was talking about how the Chargers dont have any fans in LA-"okay true enough, that cant be debated" I had no problem at all with them reporting THOSE facts. But what got me about their biased view on LA is they ALSO lumped in Ram fans there in the same catagory making the false statement-"They wont even support one." referring to Ram fans. That is such BS.

Okay sure thats true that in the second half of the season in their first year back in LA there were a lot of empty seats and that starting the first half of the season last year,it was the same but that was because for a while there,Kroneke looked like he was lying to the fans when he said he was committed to winning in LA.

Hard to take the guy serious when he brought along Jeff Fisher with him there.I was flabbergasted when he did that. I never in my wildest imaginations ever thought he would so such a stupid foolish thing is what it looked like at the time. I guarantee you MANY in LA thought the same thing, that they were thinking the same thing i was that he did not care about winning.

so I could not blame the people in LA for staying away from the LA coliseum in the second half of the 2016 season. who in their right mind would want to support a team where the owner does not give a crap about winning? Man my heart goes out to Raider fans having to put up with the biggest idiot owner in the world. The fans stayed away because Fisher brought such a dull product to the field and who can blame them in the least? I now understand WHY he brought Fisher along now though. Since he had been through relocation before with the Houston Oilers,he wanted a coach who could guide them through that and Fisher knew what to expects o he brought him along just for that reason alone.

Then when the season began last year, unfortunately even though they had a new coach, the bad taste of Jeff Fisher was STILL in their mouths so they still stayed away in the beginning. Now THAT i did not agree with. See Ram fans in LA will support a team if they are not winning just as long as the owner proves he is TRYING to win. That did not appear to be the case with Kroneke. There is a reason they survived in LA for 49 years before the move to st louis.Other than the early 90's,they were always in the top 5 in league attendance in their 49 year history up till 1994.

Here is proof they are not fair weather fans as well.at LEAST back in the old days that is.Now with technology these days that may not be the case anymore but back before cable was big, even the years they were bad, they always had great fan support as big as any other NFL team back in the old days.

The one year the Chargers played in LA in 1960 before wisely seeing LA would not support the chargers hense the move to san diego, despite the fact they had 8-4 record and made it as far as the AFC title game, they only averaged 11,000 fans per game. The Rams on the other hand, they had almost the same identical record but on the losing side, only winning 4 games that year.Yet despite that,THEY averaged 72,000 per game that year.

This link here is asking are the Rams finally LA's team?

https://sports.yahoo.com/rams-las-team-210633482.html

uh they have ALWAYS been LA's team and everybody in LA reading this thread should call out all those liars in the media and confront them face to face on ESPN they are clueless in their babble that LA does not even support one team when the history proves they have ALWAYS supported them even in the down times again the 90's being the exception and that was because as we all know, they hated the owner, not because of the poor play on the field.

shut up LAMESTREAM media,LA DOES support ONE NFL football team and always has.the Rams.:blah: they are clueless in their babble.

Your gripe should be with the NFL not the Media.

Getting home team support from the fans is a problem all over the NFL with the exceptions of a few teams.

Get the ticket prices in line with most other sports and you will have mostly all stadiums full of LOCAL team support. Spending $500.00 for decent seats and parking is just down right silly.

you're being generous. That's just tickets, no parking and no food. I spent over $700 going to one game. That's just nuts.

You could switch out the word LA with St. Louis and a few of the dates around and it'd still work. Unfortunately the media reported it because it was true. Hard to pull fans in for a lame duck couple of seasons in the Lou. And hard to pull fans in when you're known for the money grab move job multiple times in a couple decades by the same owner. Up until recently LA support was lackluster for the Rams. The Chiefs game was exactly what the doctor ordered though. Bringing together a community with two tragedies fresh, primetime game, and one of the hottest teams in the league. Hopefully they've grabbed enough interest to have an actual home field advantage again and they'll keep that momentum going into their $3 billion stadium. They haven't had home field in over 5 years.

Well I have said many times here recently that the NFL is freaking corrupt this day and age that because of that the ONLY games i will ever watch are Ram games where in the past,i tired to never miss a monday night game no matter who was playing. as far as my gripe should be with the NFL,instead of the media, please enlighten me on that. Its not the NFL going around saying what i said in the OP that BS that LA wont support one team, its the MEDIA saying that dude.:rolllaugh:

I remember all i kept hearing from the media the last two years is how LA would not even support one team the Rams.such BS as i proved in the OP. this is the media in their babble that LA does not support ONE NFL team-:blah::blah:

up until the second half of last season yeah it was lackluster but when Mcvey showed his product was NOTHING at all dull like Fishers was and had an exciting team to watch, fans started packing them in. Here take a look at this pic and video of an Eagles game last year,I see a packed house.I dont think my eyes are playing tricks on me. The Rams support in LA has ALWAYS been excellent for the most part unlike the joke chargers.

that pic looks like the stadium is packed to me LAST year.:rolllaugh:

It depends if your definition of support.

Mine. The stadium should be full of Rams fans, give or take 10% of visitor fans.

The media is correct as far as RAMS fans butts in the seats up until the Cheifs game.

Lower the prices and all will be well. They make enough money with other revenue streams. Why they feel the need to gouge the fans on game day is beyond me.

the LAMESTREAM media always goes by what the crowds are before and during the first quarter, they never go by what the crowds are from the middle of the second quarter on which is WHEN the start of the second quarter is when the Ram fans pack them in and the butts are all in the stadium. they try and get stories trying to make everyone believe they are not packing them in but people as myself who have watched the Rams games know better. I saw the vikings thursday night game,it was nothing like the green bay game where the packer fans took over,it was clearly mostly Rams fans at the game and i ALSO was there AT the game in seattle,it was CLEARLY overrun by Ram fans and a very short minority of seahawk fans.

All I can focus on is the stomach I'd like to do a shot off of. But sure, the stadiums have been packed one way or another for a while. The Chiefs game is the first one where it looked like we actually had a home field advantage both in numbers and in noise though.

Yeah, ease up bro, we are kicking ass and it's all good. If things are bothering you right now you're gonna be in a real shithole for most of your life. Our cup is WAY over half full (y)

Hey its the LAMESTREAM media that has to live with their outright lies that LA does not support the Rams.they are the ones putting their foot in their mouths. sure i sounded angry i guess but really i LOVE it how they are making asses of themselves with their lies they are churning out when all the season ticket holders, they know better, they know every bit since the second half last season, the lamestream media is inventing stories about the Rams lack of support in LA.

I would love to meet up with these clowns on national tv and show their lies but they would never take the chance of course.they would be too cowardly to own up to their lies.LOL

EVERYBODY saw in the vikings and chiefs game the HUGE support LA has behind them and they have no answers for WHY they survived in LA for 49 years before they left LA.so actually i love how they have made idiots out of themselves in their lies when they do this-:blah:

the season ticket holders all know the truth what liars they really are.that it is ONLY the chargers that dont draw out the hometown fans.i am loving THAT.:rolllaugh:

I would sure LOVE to see the LAMESTREAM media backpeddle when the facts are brought up to them that LA is not a fair weather town in the fact that when the chargers were in LA in 1960 before wisely going to SD,that even though they made it as far as the AFC title game before losing to the Oilers going 8-4,they STILL only averaged just 11,000 fans that year while the RAMS even though they had the opposite record going 4-8,THEY averaged 72,000 fans that year for their games.dont sound like fair weather fans to me,sounds like LOYALTY to me.:rolllaugh: the owner of the chargers even made a comment in the LA times back then he had to move to san diego cause he could compete with the rams in attendance.:rolllaugh: doesnt sound like fair weather fans to me,sounds like LOYALTY by LA Ram fans.hee hee.

if i brought that up to them and showed what liars they are they would be like-"uh well uh,i didnt mean.:rolllaugh::D" they would be backpeddling knowing they put their foot in their mouths.:rolllaugh:

I was worried that the Chief's fans would show in force last week. I was glad to see it didn't happen. All reports say it was electric during the game. That has to help the Rams even a little bit. I don't see LA being the rabbit fans of Philly or Buffalo. So many factors go into from money, history and of course winning. Who knows if the Rams keep winning for 3-4 more years and the new stadium what will happen with the Rams fan base? The winning makes the Rams games a place to be.

The no respect thing is fine for the players to feed a mentality.

But the everything is a conspiracy against us theories really don't do much for me as far as fan/media aspect.

Or the officials are out to get us.. or any of those lines of reasoning i see commonly on these boards

But that's me...
