I guess we'll find out how desperate teams are for a quarterback.

Turns out he was just an arm for the two wide receivers that are going to be possibly drafted from University of San Diego.

He is supposed to be playing in a spring development league. I heard the Pro Day was really for a few USD players that he had been training with and that they asked him to throw to get them some more attention. I can see Johnny making a practice squad next year, but I don't think anyone would give him a roster spot yet (even at NFL minimum wage).

Ehh I dont care for Manziel but everyone deserves a second chance. Hes doing and saying all the right things like he has his life turned around. I mean hes only 25 still. Maybe he has been humbled from everything that has happened.

Not really. San Diego has a few late round prospects that asked Manziel to throw for them since they had no QB.
Yeah. I should have said that he worked out in front of 13 NFL teams. Still, I wouldn't be a bit surprised to see him in Camp and even make a roster.

It was said that Manziel looked really sharp.

Given how expensive QBs are not, and how hard it is to find them, I can see teams figuring "pay him minimum, maybe small signing bonus and a multi-year contract so that if he works out he can't leave right away". If it doesn't work out, no big deal. If it works out, you have a cheap backup or even a starter, and maybe trade bait.

He's got to know that this is his last chance, and that he won't be able to just immediately go to big contract.
