I know this won't be popular but I feel no sympathy for him whatsoever. Fuck this overly arrogant entitled turd right in the ass with a bowling pin.
He's a selfish self centered prick who's been handed too much in life and has never had to pay for his actions.
That punk ass motherfucker was smirking at the camera during his mugshot.........and he will probably get away with the assault. It's the second time he has done this to a woman. This time he hit her hard enough that he ruptured her eardrum, and while that will heal it's painful.
He doesn't deserve any feelings other than contempt IMO. Feeling sorry for him is in part has led him down this path. Rather than holding him accountable people feel sorry for him. He doesn't need sympathy, he needs some cold hard reality to slap him in the face. I bet a few months in jail for would straighten him up a little bit.

It stands to reason that the fine he will get won't change anything, it won't be enough of the "shot". Jail time is probably the only thing that is going to get through to him.

IMO it's the only thing that'll even have a chance of getting his attention. He needs to be de-enabled and I just don't think he has any concerns about anything, so locking him up will at least have a chance at getting his attention.
The downside to that is we miss out on him making an ass out of himself and being a total Beiber-level douche.

The Browns cut ties with Johnny Manziel in March, and last month, the former first-round pick said in a statement that "I'm hoping to take care of the issues in front of me right now so I can focus on what I have to do if I want to play in 2016." In the six weeks since, Manziel has been seen at various nightclubs and bars around the country, seemingly uninterested in anything beyond finding the next party, never mind trying to get his NFL career back on track.
Which brings us to last week, where Manziel spent time in New York. TMZ reported that he was seen chugging champagne behind the DJ booth at Marquee on Wednesday night, and by Thursday, the Daily Mail reported that he was partying with actor Leonardo DiCaprio at another bar.
In general, there's nothing wrong with a 23-year-old enjoying ... well, being 23. But Manziel spent 10 weeks in a treatment facility last offseason, and the only reason he's currently out of the NFL is because he couldn't control himself off the field. It's why Manziel's father said earlier this year that if his son doesn't get help he won't live to see his next birthday. It's also why TMZ reported last week that a source close to Manziel said that he is currently "in a horrible downward spiral" and that "if he continues this way for much longer he will die."

There have been multiple serious attempts to help Johnny -- with one group of close friends recently sitting him down and "confronting" him about his situation. But, as one source put it, "He flipped out and would not hear it."
CBSSports.com's John Breech has a running list of some of the things Manziel has been up to this offseason, which just reinforces the reality that returning to the NFL is the least of Manziel's concerns.
The breaking point came hours before the Browns' regular-season finale. Manziel was reportedly at a Las Vegas casino, wearing a wig and sunglasses and using a fake name. In retrospect, that may be the closest Manziel ever gets to playing in the NFL again.

Weren't they embarrassed printing that? He went to a club, he got a tattoo, he went to a concert, he picked his nose. So what. Nobody cares. It's his alcohol and drug habit that's the problem. Plus he's a shit person to boot. Look below.
So not only did he trash a house he hired for a couple of days, he also crashed a rental car. Both instances he left without paying for damages. Just shows what a fuckwit he is and probably always will be for the rest of his life.

At this point any Manziere threads should go into the off topic or general sports forums because it isn't looking like he will ever be an NFL football player again. And based on his play while in the NFL I don't think he ever was an NFL football player. Seeing him on the Rams NFL page doesn't seem to fit anymore.
I'll add that calling this guy Johnny Football is a disgrace to the game. Don Mattingly was called Donnie Baseball years ago because he was at the top of the professional game for several years and he was the consummate professional. Manziel was never either of those things. And I know people will defend it as being his college nickname but that too is ridiculous to call a drug using partier to the extent that this guy is, Johnny Football. That name should now be dropped forever. Johnny Partier, Johnny Drughead, Johnny Dont Care About Anything, all are more accurate.

This is a good article on the guy, but it's a bit long. It's hard to feel sorry for a spoiled rich kid who has ruined countless opportunities. That kid was enabled and protected at every turn in his life, especially while he was at Texas A&M. He served a 1 HALF GAME suspension for the same thing that cost Gurley 4 games and Georgia's season. That atmosphere changes when you get to the NFL. I doubt he ever plays football again. If he doesn't get it together he'll be dead by the time he's 30.
