Like using a Fake punt to pass over the middle to Benny Cunningham, like the Bears did last Night on Monday Football, for a TD!?!:D

Definitely give props to Fisher for consistently having the shitchickens’ number, and the Bucs as well

Yeah, but I think I prefer beating more teams than just those two

I appreciate what he did, and I know he tried; and there are some good memories from his time here. *Personally*, I find it petty to kick a guy who tried and failed. I know he made a good deal of money, and that he didn't get fans what they really wanted, but he seemed like a genuinely good guy. I don't hate on the good ones.

No one knows that better than me.
I just don't find it funny is all. No big deal.
I like Fisher as a person and I appreciate what he did for this team.
And he did a great job beating the Sea Hags so I think that was the meaning by the OP

Yes, he DID do a great job of getting the boys ready for the 'Hags. I also like a LOT of things he did as a coach.

He wasn't perfect by any stretch, but he had a lot of good points and let's face it, he got VERY unlucky during his tenure here. It wasn't all his fault.

Having said that, I admit I enjoy the roller coaster McVay is building. Fun to watch. Just wish more fans thought that and showed up to make our team feel like they're not the visiting team.

GO RAMS!

Against superior Seattle teams, superior AZ teams and mostly superior SF teams. It was all the other teams that got him fired...except for Cleveland and Tampa.

I would bet the first guy he would hire as his new offensive line coach just resigned from the Miami Dolphins.

--To me it seem as if McVay went back to that style offense with Tavon in the backfield.

Maybe the game plan was good, but needed to adapt to the game situation.
The Niners game McVay sat on the water bucket & stayed in the moment just finding a why to win it.
He trusted Wade & to me that was an epic moment in modern Rams football.

I think he over thought game by using a few timeouts. The truth of the matter is that The Rams will regroup by the drinking fountain & take a breath. Then they as going to come out on Sunday & Kick The Jags ass.

But aren't they all "good guys"?

What recent Rams head coach wasn't a good guy?

I'm guessing that, by good guy, you maybe mean that they tried to succeed?

A couple thoughts:
1] To me, Fisher had a little "it's a pay check" in him. And I didn't like that at all (of course, this is just my take).

2] He was controlling to the point of hurting the team and that's selfish to me. Yeah, he had the best of intentions and did what he thought would succeed... and deserved the benefit of the doubt for the first three years.

But when he repeatedly made the same mistakes with that offense (draft picks and especially OC choices), at that point I took him as a control freak that had turned the corner from "he's trying" to "he's selfish and hurting the team".

For that, I don't see him as a "good guy".

He wasted three years of my fandom and I resent him for that... maybe I'm a bad guy.
