Rams now look like the clear best team in the division and well positioned for long term success. Great coaches, great talent evaluators, lots of great players, youth, plenty of cap room and a full complement of draft picks, for a change.

Niners might now have a decent QB, a good HC and tons of premium picks and oodles of cap space for quick fix FA’s.

What if Arizona signs Cousins? Once again they’re right back in the mix, right?

Meanwhile, back at the Seahawk ranch...

Carroll is getting old, players are getting long in the tooth, they are close to their cap limit, and they don’t have a full complement of draft picks next year. Gulp...

You tell me. Could Seattle possibly finish 4th in the division next year? Wouldn’t shock me, tbh.

Couldn’t happen to a nicer bunch of guys. Lol.

How long can RW last if they insist on not protecting him? You would think that PC has to be aware of the injuries the cardinal QBs have sustained while on the field with the Rams D.

AZ has the wrong leadership, schemes, and players. They will slowly sink into oblivion until they fire Arians and start fresh. Our biggest challenge will be from the Whiners for years to come. It’s going to be interesting because they have a lot of cap and some high draft picks.

Seattle will fix the line. It is inevitable. Wilson will be their only hope as the defense ages. But don’t forget that they are injured now but should be fresh next year. They will still have a good defense next year and should be in the thick of the division race for a few more years at least.

Yeah, they're going to be leaving bodies out in the streets.

Remember that odd feeling you got when the Rams got Kyle Turley? Not to trigger any Dominique Hatfield fans, but it really makes no cap sense for the Squaks to keep Richard Sherman. Yes. Near vet min contract for Sherman? You wouldn't do it? Sherman's a SoCal and a Kyle Kuzma fan! Webs could use a rehab buddy. If he can pass a physical, if he'll play for a cheap ass contract, and if the Rams can't draft/sign a size corner, I say give Sherman a look over Hatfield.

Yes, lots of ifs. Anyhow, off season stories were that Sherman was looking to play with Lynch and the Raiders would probably pay more for him to return to the Bay Area. Some other Squak body in the street might be possible FA opportunity.

I love you 43........but get your fucking priorities straight.

We need all of the division to go back and forth from 7-9 to 9-7 getting no high draft picks. We need them to have tumultuous staff turnover and unstable decions from ownership.

Fuck AZ.

Fuck SF.

Fuck SEA.

Earl Thomas to Jason Garrett: If y’all have the chance, come get me

Earl Thomas left the field on the Cowboys’ end, meeting up with Jason Garrett as Thomas entered the Dallas locker room to pay his respects to Dez Bryant.

“If y’all have the chance, come get me,” Thomas said to Garrett, not so quietly as reporters waiting to enter the Cowboys locker room heard it.

The Seahawks safety, who grew up in Texas as a Cowboys fan and played at the University of Texas, becomes a free agent after next season. But he downplayed his comment to reporters.

“I went to the locker room to talk to Dez, and I saw coach Garrett,” Thomas said. “I’ve always been a Cowboys fan growing up. The biggest thing about when I said come get me is I don’t literally mean come get me now. I’m still in the prime of my career. I still want to be here. But when Seattle kicks me to the curb, please, the Cowboys, come get me. That’s the only other place I’d rather be If I was kicked to the curb. So that’s what I meant by it.

“People take life too serious. That’s just who I am.”

There has been speculation the Seahawks could part ways with Thomas in the offseason, anticipating a contract holdout. Kansas City safety Eric Berry‘s contract pays him $13 million a season, which likely is in the range that Thomas will seek.

Thus, the Seahawks could shop Thomas in the offseason.

Thomas said he didn’t know what was going to happen — where he will play in the future — but stressed he would love to stay in Seattle.

“Yes, I’m happy here. I love being here,” Thomas said. “This is where I started. I built my resume here. I got Kam [Chancellor] and Sherm [Richard Sherman]. I don’t want to leave.”

Any team with a premier QB is a threat, and always will be.

With that said, Wilson has always been more of a game manager when it comes to passing. As soon as his running ability is gone, he will be too. He isn't a good enough passing QB to carry a team like a Drew Brees or a Tom Brady can.

At 29 you can't imagine the style of game he plays is still going to be who he is for much longer.
