i became a Ram fan in the 60's and agonized EVERY loss over the years but was no more disappointed than MNF. Even the stolen loss to the Pats in the SB and the heart wrenching loss to Carolina in the playoffs doesn't compare. The coaching staff collectively sh*t a brick. The players were overwhelmed by an inferior team. I can't imagine how these players could trust the coaches after such an embarrassing lack of performance. The entire game it seemed like Chip Kelly KNEW every play call and was prepared while the Rams were dumbfounded.

But I've seen Fisher and Williams outsmart their competition in the past. Yes, they laid a Brontosaurus egg against a dumpster fire team. But I believe they took this game for granted while saving bullets for the Hawks. This happened the first game under the spotlight. Nearly EVERY team lays an egg from time to time...it's inevitable .

But three things are about to happen. 1. The players will rise up with the pride and talent they have. 2. The coaches will admit their ridiculous gameplan and adjust accordingly, and 3. The team grow through the year into something we can be proud of again.

I realize I sound Pollyanna but too much work has been done for this game to be all we will see. The season just started. Beat the Hawks and the whole nature of the season changes. Call me a hopeless romantic but this might be just the kick in the groin that propels this team to what it needs to be.

I'm sorry Leo I just don't see them over looking this game. That's defiantly hopeful to save yourself mentally that what happened Monday was a random rare thing that happened. It's a culmination of Fishers out dated, out played philosiphies bearing their ugly head.

With the type of shit show Fisher runs on offense it's no wonder he's only had a subpar TE coach to run his offense with any OC with a brain know this is a career death trap.

The one thing I can't get over and I've seen multiple people post here is literally how predictable Boras is with his play calling, it's ridiculous. I can't imagine people who get paid 100's of thousands or millions of dollars a year wouldn't be able to predict what a sub par Madden play calling OC could do. This is retatded asf...

Leo, I hope your optimism proves me the hell wrong though! :)

How about going back to the OL they started every pre-season game?
Or they let this OLine configuration work together. This is likely our best five, yes it'll be some early growing pains but we'll be better for it.

Hard to see many wins with this offense. Something drastic needs to change there.

They may beat Seattle, but IMO that's a continuation of their Jekyll and Hyde act. They need to string together 5 or 6 wins in a row to make me a believer again.

IMO the Rams are still deficient in several key areas (QB, WR, LB) and combined with their travel schedule, strength of division, it'll be too cumbersome to overcome.

Sounds just like me every week for the past 40 years and I hope you're right . I start calming down by the end of every week after a loss and look forward to Sunday . You would think these guys had a hard time looking in the mirror after that debacle and will do something about it. I still don't like Fishers coaching style . Instead of kissing the players buts how about locking them in a room with Waufle for an hour .

I keep thinking about Hard Knocks and Fishers quote " I know what I'm doing" . If that were true, our team wouldn't look like dogshit at the start of each and every year. Our training camp doesn't work, period.
