Goff instead needs to work on his mechanics. His arm speed. His release. His footwork. His pocket awareness. Over. And over.
I’ve always wanted to see Goff add bulk, but yeah... what is the goal?
I don’t think Goff is suddenly going to become a running QB. And... if the added bulk is to help absorb shots in the pocket, his “Gumby” body type seems to do just fine.
So yeah. Added strength is good. But focus the energy where the biggest impact is... trust the coaches to help figure that out.
