"CLEVELAND -- Former Cleveland Browns quarterback Bernie Kosar has been arrested on drunken driving charges in suburban Cleveland.

Kosar
Police in Solon say Kosar was arrested early Sunday. A police statement says Kosar was pulled over for speeding at around 2:45 a.m. and officers smelled a strong odor of alcohol.

The police statement says Kosar took sobriety tests and was taken to jail. He was alone in the car.

Kosar didn't immediately return a phone call seeking comment.

The 49-year-old Kosar has publicly talked about how head injuries sustained during his NFL career have affected his speech, making him sometimes slur his words. He has also been addicted to pain medications, gone through a divorce and had financial troubles."

So, it looks like while Kosar was at least partially correct about the Ram receivers we were at least partially right about him.

What a tool.

How can anyone be upset with Kosar still? I don't really care about him one way or the other but really, this butt-clinching over what he said about the Rams receivers needs to stop.

What should be bothering everyone is that a drunk, brain-damaged, drug-addict could see the problem and our coaching staff apparently can't.

LOL.

Not surprising, he sounded like he was halfway past a bottle of jack on the preseason broadcast so to find out he actually is a lush isn't too much of a surprise.

...or am I reading this wrong? Are people upset with him because he was right or that he actually said it?

Im not upset about Kosar either way. I find it comical in a sense.

I wonder if he could adjust in game better than Schotty?

Who knows how much he brought on himself but without knowing the details, I feel bad for the guy. Lost his wife, his money, soon to be his 2nd career from the looks of things and he's hooked on alcohol and med's after taking a beating in the NFL?

Laughing at him, apparently because he didn't say rosy things about the Rams, just doesn't set well with me.

More laughing that he's a lush idiot like we said, but with the self deprecating side implied, since that lush idiot saw our team better than we did.

when you have a soapbox and you use it to completely downgrade everyone on the other team you deserve all the flack you get, he wasn't saying things in a constructive way, how is saying that players parents should be ashamed of them constructive? (he wants an NFL players to be ashamed of them, how are they anything close to shamefull as having a porn star for a daughter?). there are many talking heads who talk about the Rams problems that no one has any objection to, the difference is they will just say player X needs to be replaced, not go on a rant about how they are the worst player they have ever seen ect ect. point out a teams weakness, fine. try to denigrate everyone on a team, and you will catch hell. even Browns mgt got on him about it.
