He's a Devil with a Cause now for still putting out diverse funky feel good rhythms and definitely maturing from album to album esp from Rock N Roll Jesus. Well done Bobby Ritchie-KR and Twisted Brown Trucker Band. This one is special! Also enjoyed seeing KR produced it on his own. Just thought I'd share. Its worth it.

It's funny. When Kid Rock and Limp Bizkit came out I thought it was the end of Rock N Roll forever.

Then came Justin Beiber and Katy Perry

At least Katy Perry has some songs that are deep and meaningful (Firework).

Bieber is another aututuned music industry pawn.

I hate the way the American music has become. It's nothing but flash in the pan no bodies that fall out of relevancy in 3 years if not sooner.

Hate to kinda Hi-Jack this thread but have any of you listened to the new Deftones album Koi No Yokan? It came out the same day as Kid Rock's Rebel Soul.

It is FUCKING AMAZING. The way the band has evolved blows my mind. Chino but it best when he said "I have learned that a great melody is as powerful as the loudest scream". Every album they release is better than the last.

That's pretty badass, Lib. Doesn't sound like the Deftones that I remember, that's for sure.

Yeah man. I have listened to them heavily for the past few years. Im only a casual fan of their first few albums(Adrenaline, White Pony, Around the Fur). There are some really good songs on each. But IMO they hit a homerun with Diamond Eyes and now they've hit a grand slam with Koi No Yokan. There's no one else they can combine melodies and aggression like they can. Its cool to see the way the band has matured.

You didn't jack the thread besides I left the Deft ones album up for someone else like yourself. I fully agree back to back 'epic' albums with Diamond Eyes and KYN. I chose G N R in Vegas over Deftones here in AZ same night. It would have been #16 if I caught Chino and Co.again

I could never get into RUSH. I don't know why. I did try though.

I was more into Zeppelin, Nazareth & Aerosmith at the time.
