What seems cool about him outside of the obvious is he seems to have really brought out the best in the other WR's, especially Quick.
Can't put a price on that.
And we shouldn't! I'll be upset if is isn't a Ram next year as he has grown into quite the team player. That being said, I think he really likes playing for Fish, so barring any extreme disagreements over numbers I say he comes back.

I'd definitely be good with re-signing him. Hope his knee is just bruised.
I'd like to bring him back too but he looks really banged up every week. Loving his desire to play through it though. I wonder how much he has left even this season. Hill is going to be looking his way a lot from here on out. Hope he can keep playing at a high level.

Because I still have doubts that his market will be that great. This is probably his best opportunity in terms of Head Coach and playing time.
Doubts that he should get a respectable deal?? Who cares what his market is with other teams he has proven to be a good piece for the Rams. I'm sure this year has been a prove it year for him and thus far he has done that. Give him what he has earned and let him settle in to being a pro.

And he's blocking much better this year.

Him not going down with barely a scratch either has really been an improvement. As a Titan, and even last year, he went down WAAAAYYY easier than a 6'5 254 LB TE should should. He didn't seem to fight for yards.

This year, he's fighting hard for yards and the ball in the air.

I think two years for Britt. This is still pretty much his 1st real season since 2012. Nagging little injuries are expected. But I'd again incentivise his contract because of those concerns (and off field stuff) but with how he mentored Quick, it seems he's maturing.

It depends how well Bailey and Austin play rest of season. If Bailey starts playing like some think he will I would rather go with him and Quick on outside and spend FA money on the best center Or Guard and draft Sammy Coates or Dgb.

Was thinking the same thing, Dbrooks. Quick and Britt together... oof. That's gonna be the best tandem in football next year.
It sure looks like we've finally found our replacements for Bruce and Holt, after all these years!!(y):D

They must re-sign Britt. Was anyone else thinking about what Quick would have done to Denver today? I love these two together.
I passed out when I thought about it................. what day is it now?

Should do that anyway. Draft a WR that is, if possible. I think Givens is outliving his usefulness. If he hasn't already.

Can you imagine those two with a healthy Sam or other top tier QB throwing to them?

It's one or the other imo. We're already down 2 picks and need C, G, Qb even if we keep Bradford. I would rather go after mccourty and resign Barksdale

Gotta re-sign our good players....Got to.....If reasonably priced....Thinking the same about Barksdale....But continue to draft players....At the key positions of need

I'd still look at DGB in the 4th or 5th round....First three picks need to focus on QB, LB, & OG.

I care. You pay players their market value. This year was a prove it year but it's hard for me to fully trust a guy with his history.

of course the rams will try and sign him up again. but as always there will be some desperate team that will offer more. it will be up to britt if he wants to be part of a young team on the uprise with him as a leader or if he just wants money.

History is just that, guys grow up he paid for the dumbshit and it is time to move on like both partners in the agreement are grown ups.

If Britt took the high road and stayed here rather than taking a bigger salary somewhere else, it'd be great.

But, we both know that the NFLPA and his agent will be screaming at him to take the bigger deal.

This guy loves being a Ram and playing for Fisher. We heard a lot of negative things before signing with character issues and his knee injury a while back. Outside of some homemade porn, of which nobody really remembers, he's been the polar opposite. He will reach all incentives on his deal this year and there's no question on where he wants to play next year. I say everyone will be happy when it's all said and done.

If Britt did go to another team that paid him more, I'd wish him well (and if it was a cheap offer, wonder why the Rams didn't match it).

Any one of us would take a better paying job to do the same thing we already do in a second. Not sure why athletes get looked down on for doing the same. At the end of the day for them, it's a business. And if they don't get everything they can in their short careers, it's not like we're lending them money later.
