Good question!
My guess is that if a team picks him up off waivers, his contributions will accumulate. If he clears only his Cleveland contributions would count. Either way, I cant see him offering anything in comp pick

Kenny Britt has been released today, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. Britt will go on waivers and can be claimed by any team that wants the remainder of his $4 million base salary this season. Assuming no team claims Britt, he would then become an unrestricted free agent.

The Browns signed Britt to a four-year, $32.5 million contract that included $17 million guaranteed, and the Browns will be on the hook for that guaranteed money.

Britt has managed just 18 catches for 233 yards this season. He never appeared to fit with what Hue Jackson wanted to do on offense, and now that the guy who signed Britt is gone, Britt is the next one out the door.

much like when mcvay entered the building. first order of business was to empty the lockers of britt and quick.

.
Technically they were already empty, we just gave security their pictures and profiles and said they aren’t allowed on the premises anymore! Haha :)

Dang, at 17 million guaranteed and 18 catches, he averaged $944,000 per catch! Or, at 233 yards, that's $73 Grand per yard.

I'd say someone f'd up with this free agent signing!

Something tells me Britt isn't the problem there.

No doubt. That whole organization is a shit show.

Until ownership can commit that team will never get it together.

But Kenny Britt was ONE problem that could quickly be solved.

I'm not even kidding here.

Two hot tubs and a training table.
I mean..... make me an offer ....what do you got?

Two blenders and I would be happy.
A 26 inch flat screen and I would be ecstatic.

Some of it also has to do with the emergence of Josh Gordon.

Honestly, when you see Gordon play, Britt looks like ass in comparison.

And I think he's still on his rookie deal for 1-2 more years, so...yeah.

Moneyball......in the NFL..........LOLOL.

No he isn't, but that does't mean he is worth a fuck either.

You're right, but I don't think he will ever really care and IMO he will sell the team soon because he can make 1BIL on the sale.
