I'd love nothing more than to see Bradford come out next season and light it up, but I think that's wishful thinking.

So, being 11th in passer rating among starters in 2013 is wishful thinking?

You know how these things work. It doesn't count if it's against teams with losing records.

NorCalRamFan thinking:
But SB has missed 15 games to injury in 2 of the last 3 years and 11 game in 3 years at Oklahoma, so despite his size, he's been somewhat injury-prone.

Right now, Kaep is on the verge of taking his team to the SB for the 2nd year in a row. He does just enough with his arm to move the chains, but will kill the opposition with his running ability.

If Kaep ever learns to read defenses and go thru his progressions, he will be a handful.

Manning and Brady can read Defenses, go thru their progressions quickly and get the ball out quickly. They are also mobile enough to roll out and have enough pocket presence to sense pressure, step up or slide out to the side to avoid getting hit and making a play.

There's another thread going about Manning's OL and how good would Bradford look behind that line. I don't think he would look much different as the Denver OL doesn't have anyone special on it. Maybe one past Pro-Bowler. Manning makes the OL look good, not the other way around.

As I always say, a good QB elevates those around him, not the other way around.

I just think it's time for a change at QB, but Fisher and Snead don't and they have the final say, so we'll have to wait another season at least and see.

I just think we have a great opportunity with the #2 pick to upgrade and to free up some much needed cap space.

The pick doesn't necessarily have to be Manziel either.

I'd love nothing more than to see Bradford come out next season and light it up, but I think that's wishful thinking.
No doubt you have some good points there but your overall point about Kapernoodle is what keeps the gambling casinos solvent. The odds don't favor a running QB lasting very long. The Whiners are carying Kapernoodle and not the other way around IMO. They did just as well with Alex Smith didn't they?

We get that you don't like SB but you're excessively negative about him IMO. You completely ignore anything good he does and concentrate on what you perceive to be this negatives. He's our QB and will be for the foreseeable future. Constant complaining won't change that. Try and find some positive things to say about our other players and you might enjoy being a Rams fan a little more.

Keep those positive vibes coming. Even if you have to make them up. :D

The funny thing both these teams don't even rely on their QBs. It's defense and the running game. And saying Tom Brady and Peyton Manning are mobile enough is like saying Harbaugh gets slightly irritated.

Oh look another scramble by Russell Wilson resulting in a throw away. EXCITING.

Let's see if it was an anomaly based on playing teams like JAX and HOU and padding his stats in garbage time against ATL and DAL, or if he reverts back to his career passer rating of 79.3 next season.

Besides, the Rams went 3-4 in those games with 2 wins coming against JAX and HOU

2014 will be his 5th season. No more excuses. If he gets injured again then he's injury prone and it's time to move on.

He's gotten more than enough chances. It's time to put some results up on the scoreboard and to stop blaming the OL, the WR's, the RB, the TE

He will also be in the 3rd year with the same OC

Again, it's time to put up.

"we're not getting much "bang for the buck" at the QB position."

Only rookie of the year and setting rookie records for QB.

Leading a team with no talent to a win and in game in Seattle twice

3-4 with no running game in the first 5 games and 14 TDs this year before his crappy O line got him hurt again.

Give Bradford the O line in SF and he would have chewed the NFCW up for the last 4 years

What a beautiful scrambling backwards run by a running QB in Colin Kaeperwhatever. Resulted in a incompletion and a 3 and out. Mind you...That was an EXCITING 3rd down incompletion.

And Russell Wilson ran around in circles on a 2nd and 6 rather than stepping up in the pocket leading to a huge intentional grounding call.

You gotta admit. It was an exciting intentional grounding.

These defenses are great.

But, without the D... These QBs wouldn't get any attention.

SF is bringing the heat. Seamonkeys won't let the running game get going. Hence QBs are a very EXCITING meh.
