I've been rewinding that fg fake in my mind for two weeks now, it would be the perfect play to whip out if we're down inside the five and couldn't punch it in, or if it's late in the game we're up by one and we pull an 8 point play with this fake to make it two possessions.

Make this happen!

I would like to see Hekker throw a pump and go to Shields. Last game, Shields ran a stick route. I think a young gunner would bite on a fake to that and allow a throw over the top.

Problem with that is there is no pass interference on a gunner on a fake punt, so the DB can interfere legally.

The pass interference section of the NFL’s online digest of rules makes it clear: “Whenever a team presents an apparent punting formation, defensive pass interference is not to be called for action on the end man on the line of scrimmage.”

Oh, I didn't know that! That explains the no call on that deep pass to Reynolds that some complained about.
