Wow, i guess they must really like the young guys we have at LB.

Out of interest, how much was Dunbar due to make this year? Does this do much for us cap-wise?

Wow, that is surprising. He would be a strong boost to our LB corp once he got back.

This is a hoax why cant i find anything other than that tweet.
Not to mention we would trade not cut a player like dunbar who would quickly get snagged up by another team.

Nope it is confirmed just saw it on rotoworld.

Right now it sucks seeing this esp what Dunbar provided last season. However Fisher is a no bullshit guy we know this.

Team conquers individual decision. In Fisher's second season we can see he has no tolerance and make it very apparent when asked about Dunbar's actions on suspension..he let the Team down.

Jo-Lonn Dunbar | FA
(September 3, 2013 5:23 PM EDT)

Rams released WLB Jo-Lonn Dunbar.
Known as a player's coach, Jeff Fisher uncharacteristically condemned Dunbar after he was slapped with a four-game ban for violating the league's PED policy, but it's still surprising the Rams would cut a player who was expected to start upon his return. Dunbar started all 16 games last season, racking up 115 tackles, 4.5 sacks and two interceptions. Fading veteran Will Witherspoon is taking Dunbar's spot in the starting lineup opposite James Laurinaitis

If true, that's exactly what it means. Fuck around and you're out.
So it's Spoon all year? Wonder if they try Armstrong out on that side eventually.

To me this just means that sooner rather than later it's gonna be Ray Ray's hunting season.

I don't like it... I really liked Dunbar. Very physical and made our D that much more intimidating.

No, Balzer never jumps the gun on these things.

Rene Knotts (of KSDK) also confirms:

If true; The cap savings is $1.3 million (salary $1.3M, dead money $500k, total compensation $1.8M).

I wonder if he screwed up again? Sucks! I like the guy as a player... maybe they like these young guys just as much?

It won't for long. That's the last thing that gets addressed. First they have to come out with a statement. There could be more to this than we know too. Could be a cap savings move and they'll bring him back once the season starts. We don't know the whole story yet.
