That's a good sign. It says until further notice. Maybe he's close to a deal.

I'm being optimistic and taking this as a sign that he and the rams must be close to a deal

I think it was always something that Jenks wanted...to play on a big stage. LA offers him that.

I actually think it will be harder now to sign Tru. I think we'll tag or sign JJ to that $14M tier and that'll be about right because he was shut down and not many balls were thrown his way. Tru was challenged a lot because teams doubted him. Towards the end of the year, they found out that he stepped up, but it wasn't always that way. Gaines outplayed him and earned that outside spot, let's not forget that.

Thing is that in this market, Tru is more of a prototype. And with those INT numbers, he might get a team like the Raiders who try to put him above that $10M bracket. How does a player say no to extra millions? I mean, it's possible, but I can't ding a player for switching teams for the money. After football, it all spends the same.

My big hope is that the Raiders try to make Josh Norman the richest CB in the league and we can sign our guys to $14M and $10M deals. Those would be the going rates for top CBs. Expensive, but in a passing league, they're as important if not more important than a pass rush.

Johnson also had a very serious sprained MCL at the time. It's impossible to say how it would have turned out if Tru was healthy.

I had a guess his desire to stay with the Rams was related to the relocation saga. I would expect a deal to be signed.

Gained outplayed a guy that was injured to win the starting spot?

Jenks IMO is not a top tier corner and if Tru could ever stay healthy he'd be our best CB.

Well, we'll see what their value is soon enough...

I just want them BOTH in horns. BEFORE the Raiders can make ridiculous offers...

Plus, Jenkins posts this the day after the Rams "start reviewing their free agency plan".. so maybe Rams have upped their offer and it's getting close to a done deal

We must be willing to pay him a FORTUNE if he's planning on living in Beverly Hills.
