EARTH CITY, MO - (KTVI - FOX2now.com)—

Jeff Fisher could soon become the Rams' next head coach. Fisher spent several house yesterday at Rams Park. Fox Sports is reporting that Fisher could take the Rams head coaching job in the next day or so.

That same report says the other team which was in the race for Fisher, the Miami Dolphins, also believes Fisher is headed to St. Louis and they are moving on to other candidates. Fisher was seen Sunday at Rams Park with Kevin Demoff, the Rams' Executive Vice President of Football Operations.

Fisher arrived at Rams Park about 11:30 a.m. and left at 4 p.m. He met with several members of the Rams organization including quarterback Sam Bradford. Demoff would not speak on camera but did say that Fisher and the Arizona Cardinals defensive coordinator Ray Horton were the only two people who have interviewed for the head coaching job.

The Rams owner, Stan Kroenke was not at Sunday's meeting. But he did meet Fisher last Thursday in Denver. Fisher has made it known that his choice is only between the Rams and the Dolphins and he will make his decision by the middle of the week.

Fisher is of course the former head coach of the Tennessee Titans. And in what could be an interesting move, the Rams are set to speak with the Titans Vice President of Operations Lake Dawson and the Titans V.P. of Player Personnel Ruston Webster for the Rams G.M. opening.
