On Sunday, for the second year, Rams head coach Jeff Fisher will host the “Coach Fisher & Friends Celebrity Softball Game” at GCS Ballpark in Sauget to benefit five charities. Coach Fisher joined the show to preview the fun event, plus talks about the status of the exciting Rams team that is eager to begin the upcoming season.

Rams Coach Jeff Fisher KMOX Radio Interview

Highlights:

**How are OTA’s going? We are different team than last year at this time….much more explosive….much more experienced in the system….working very hard…getting the rooks caught up.

**Sam has done a great job….the offense has expectations…things are coming together…..we have a lot of young players who have to learn on the run.

**Jared Cook and Sam have really hit it off well….spent a lot of time together…Cook is going to really create mismatches…Quick and Givens are really making strides….really impressed with the off season Pettis has had…and it’s fun to watch the young RB’s.

**O-line allowed no sacks in the last two games last year…you could feel them coming together….will be a very solid group….key to our success…very well coached.

**D-Line was productive every week….Brockers has really changed his body…can be dominating and disruptive inside….we have depth at the D-end position….will be fun to watch them play.

**TJ McDonald is very smart, very instinctive…nothing rattles him…he’s learning quickly..he understands angles..I think he’ll have a fine career.
