I know it's hard to format those tables, but this is what it looks like without any.

It would be nice to get a WR or two worth a shit forbhim to throw to. So tired of seeing dead on passes dropped. That's when he actually has a few seconds to read and throw it without being molested in the pocket that is.

I don't disagree. And the first half against New Orleans seemed to show what he was capable of.
All I'm saying is that there just is no way to have an opinion one way or the other based on the limited amount we've seen

Without a doubt man. It would be nice to access Goff for his actual games without players making it a huge shit show so it's difficult as hell to judge Goff's play.

I just wish that he played at least as well as Keenum did, and I use the term "as well" loosely...
Of course I think the play of the o-line has completely collapsed since CK left but I digress

I agree totally on the o line collapsing since CK was in there. and I thought they couldn't get any worse when CK was in there to! Boy was I wrong!

IDK... its like everything has been put on the spin cycle since that Lions games IMO. Somewhere, something changed fast...

Agreed. In fact, I thought the pass pro actually looked decent with Case in there, and that the sacks often were his fault. But since Goff has been in, its watching the Bears 46 defense play against us every week

Dak, who is phenomenal, would look pedestrian with our scheme and players.

That said Goff has a lot of work to do in the off-season, namely putting on some weight and working with our WR'S to build some chemistry. It'll have to happen on his own accord though given the restrictions of the collective bargaining agreement.

He's two years away from the QB he could be. But I think we'd all agree that the wait will be worth it.

I noticed that as well. It's like that Lions loss took all the air out of this team. But can you blame them? They're sitting at the top of the division at 3-1, lose to Buffalo and then again to Detroit in a heart breaking loss. Sometimes those send teams over the deep end.

I don't expect everybody to be on the Goff train like I am. But my belief in the guy hasn't wavered. The guy is a rookie stuck in the worst possible circumstances. Our offense was the worst in the NFL when he got in there. And he got in there right before guys started mailing in the season. A sizable chunk of our team gave up on the season after that Saints game. There are way too many guys out there half-assing it. Goff was already walking into a horribly broken scheme with a terrible play-caller. Now, we've got some of his supporting cast mailing it in. And the kid is doing everything he can to lead and earn respect.

No, my belief in this kid hasn't wavered. Despite all the issues, he's still shown the attributes that make him special in my guys. He's still got outstanding feet, a quick release, and #1 overall caliber arm talent. I've seen him making full-field reads. I've seen him go through 3 or 4 progressions with the speed of a veteran QB. That TD to Quick that he missed because he rushed it, Quick was his 4th progression on that play. And Goff found him right when Quick broke open. Best of all, Goff recognized that the Seahawks were trying to bait him to throw the corner route to Britt. Richard Sherman pretended to jump the flat route to Higbee and then dropped back under Britt on the corner route. Goff spotted it, didn't bite, and moved back across the field to find Quick.

Once we disentangle Goff from this mess, y'all will see it. The accuracy didn't go anywhere. The kid is simply constantly under pressure and is a rookie still getting used to the speed of the game. It's a bad combination. His instincts and feel in the pocket, footwork, arm strength, mental processing speed, quick release, intelligence, and competitiveness are still there. His accuracy is still there. I believe that our next coaching staff will be able to display that in a way that Fisher and Boras could not.

I don't know what the think of Goff at this point. Everything around him is so terrible its impossible to judge him correctly. He has to do things QB's wouldn't have to do under normal circumstances.
This^^^^^
Nothing more can be said IMO. This is why it is soooo important that the organization gets the new staff (and maybe FO) right. Talk about ripple effect.

At this point I think his career potential ranges from bust to best ever
Yup... I'll stay close to the middle until I see more... much, much more. I'll let the arm chair GM's take on those limb spots.

I don't expect everybody to be on the Goff train like I am. But my belief in the guy hasn't wavered.
Speaking of limbs... given the emotional investment you've clearly in this player, I hope he doesn't let you down... for your sake, and for the team's sake. ;)

In doing some research on Tom Brady(don't ask) I came across this:
********************************************************************
https://www.quora.com/Why-was-Tom-Brady-drafted-so-low

The draft report shown via the Brady 6 documentary(see below) stated these as Brady's weaknesses

Poor Build
Skinny
Lacks great physical stature and strength
Lacks mobility
Lacks a really strong arm
Can't drive a team down the field

View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xHJMfF-3FD0

Scouts were hard on Brady, as they are on most quarterbacks. They criticized his slow foot speed. They criticized his frame, saying he was too small. They criticized his arm strength. They said he couldn't throw a tight spiral. They said he couldn't improvise if a play broke down.

Is not what you’re looking for in terms of physical stature, strength, arm strength and mobility, but he has the intangibles and production and showed great Griese-like improvement as a senior. Could make it in the right system but will not be for everyone.
******************************************************
Barring injuries, put Goff or any top drafted QB in the right system over a long period of time and he will most likely succeed.

I use lightshot. It screencaps an image to your size specifications and then automatically uploads it to its own server, where you can right click and "copy" it to "paste" in the message body here.

Eazy peazy.

Nope. Has more arm strength than some of the top QBs in the NFL, including Drew Brees and Andrew Luck.
