Clowney is going to be available at #2. The Rams are going to take him and it is going to be glorious.

He will spend his entire career with a chip on his shoulder knowing that he should have gone number 1 but that people questioned his work ethic. It will fuel him. It will haunt him.

The Rams D Line will be legendary. Quinn and Clowney will be generational - the kind of pairing that people still talk about 50 years from now.

Tomorrow night - it begins.

For that to happen, who do the Texans pick? :sneaky:

This is what I want to happen. The Texans would have to be completely stupid to pass on Clowney. Do you have a source or is this a pipe dream?

Just don't get your hopes up ma friend. Whatever happens El Pescado, Snead, and the man KD will do their magic. Whatever happens.

I mean there's a lot of pressure. You gotta rise above it. You gotta harness in the good energy, block out the bad. Harness. Energy. Block. Bad. Feel the flow, @12intheBox. Feel it. It’s circular. It’s like a carousel. You pay the quarter, you get on the horse. It goes up and down and around. Circular. Circle. With the music. The flow… all good things.

No source - my gut just finally began to speak to me.

Hope your gut is right. That's my dream scenario. 8 years of Clowney and Quinn would be outrageous.

So how do we solve the Clowney, Long and Quinn being three players to fill two spots issue?

My gut is telling me that Doctor Emmett Brown will appear in the Rams war room in a Delorean time machine with the G.S.O.T. In tow and the Rams will draft all of them. I also heard that same info from a "trusted source".

While I do think Clowney is going to be very good, I'm really starting to worry about our offense. I don't see any WR's on this roster that other teams fear. I don't see a line that will protect Bradford the way he needs. I see a defense that was the only reason the Rams were in any games last year. I see an offense that ranked near the bottom in many key categories.

If our offense could just be competent, I think we'll win way more games than if we had another very good DE. I don't think there's such a huge drop off in talent between Clowney and one of the OT's or WR's. That being said, I won't be mad about Clowney if he's the pick. Mack on the other hand....

I've said it all along, Mack fits the Texans better than Clowney. So we'll see!

There aren't just 2 spots. D line rotates - and ends can line up at DT, and even OLB on occasion. That's why we have seen so much Sims and Hayes even tho Long and Quinn have stayed healthy.
