Love it. Bruce is awesome. He said "we" and "our" so many times in that interview when talking about the team. It's so nice to hear him speak about this team like it's his own. Fuckin' ridiculous that he ended up on the 49ers, but that bridge is burned now.

Ike; The biggest thing Austin can do is to develop a mentality of being a wide receiver in the NFL - whether it be on the inside or outside. Not a gadget guy. He just needs to eliminate that from his mind. Once he develops that mentality, his plays will come. He'll get the football. Guys like Kenny Britt and Stedman will teach him how to run routes vs a zone, and when to sit down, and how to make plays. He just needs to be more effective in his route-running ability and just turn it on when he has it (the ball).

Definitely great to hear that connection with the team. And I think Fish deserves some credit on that front, too, the way he and the front office actively involve former Rams and their greats to come to camp, practice, etc.

IMO Ike is a great influence on our WRs. They should bring him around as a temp asst coach in the preseason dude has serious clout and when he tells Tavon he needs to re-run that route and get it right by doing this or that there's nothing to do but exactly what he suggests.
