I thought that or maybe he got stepped on
Could have been worse. I had a calf cramp and turned into a strain 2 weeks ago. Was in pain for about 4 days.
Worse than that, it is likely to cramp up again for Trujo.

The Eagles are bracing for some bad news on running back Darren Sproles.

Sproles suffered a broken arm in today’s game against the Giants, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. Sproles is currently out indefinitely, with an MRI Monday likely to reveal the full extent of the injury.

The 34-year-old Sproles is getting old by NFL running back standards, but he still an effective playmaker for Philadelphia. So far this year he has 15 carries for 61 yards, seven catches for 73 yards and one punt return for 10 yards.

Philadelphia is deep at running back, with Wendell Smallwood, LeGarrette Blount and Corey Clement all running the ball well today. But no one does everything Sproles does, and the Eagles will miss him if he’s gone for an extended period of time.

Damn! :(
Darren Sproles suffered a torn ACL in addition to a broken arm Week 3 against the Giants.

Sproles likely would have returned this season if just for the broken arm, but the ACL tear means his 2017 is finished. With the veteran considering retirement, it is possible this injury also ends his career, which would be a terrible way for one of the league's best playmakers to go out. With Sproles done for the year, LeGarrette Blount, Wendell Smallwood, and Corey Clement should form a timeshare in the backfield. Blount is the best bet for touchdowns from that group, but Smallwood is best suited to take on Sproles' former role. Smallwood needs to be added in all leagues.

The Cardinals are looking for a better performancefrom their offensive line than they got against the Cowboys last Monday, but they’ll have to do it without the assistance of left guard Mike Iupati.

Coach Bruce Arians said Friday that Iupati is headed to injured reserve as a result of a bone spur in his elbow that will require him to have surgery. That will leave the Cardinals scrambling to fill out their offensive line in the near term because Alex Boone, who was starting in place of Iupati, will not play this week due to a pectoral injury.

As if that wasn’t enough, the team may also be without left tackle D.J. Humphries once again because of a knee injury. Arians said “we’ll see” when asked if Humphries could go against the 49ers this weekend.

The team could promote fourth-round pick Dorian Johnson from the practice squad to go with John Wetzel, Will Holden and Daniel Munyer as options to patch things together in front of Carson Palmer.
