K, I'll trade Carrol for Earl Thomas.

Maybe.

Earl Thomas (Talk About a secondary...WOW!)
Larry Fitz (Talk about a WR corps...WOW!)
Vernon Davis (Talk about a TE...WOW!)

I took one from each...All make their (dis)respective teams significantly weaker.

I would have take Peterson but I think we're pretty set at CB.

Based on how they'd improve the club:

Patrick Willis, MLB/WLB, San Fransisco. He would immediately step in as the best 4-3 outside linebacker in the NFL or you could put Laurinaitis on the outside and Willis in the middle. Either way, you now have the two best linebackers in the NFC West on your team.

Larry Fitzgerald, WR, Arizona. No offense to any of our other receivers, but adding Fitz would bring immediate credibility, leadership, and skill to our wide receiving core. He'd make defenses respect the pass in order to help Steven Jackson. He'd help out Bradford with his instincts, and he'd teach our young wide receivers what it truly means to be a superstar.

Mike Iupati, LG, San Fransisco. Our offensive line is now complete. Iupati runs over everyone who dares to stands in his way, and he's nimble enough to stop the best interior pass-rushers. He helps out Rodger Saffold with the run. He can pull, get to the second level, and make room for Jackson and Pead to run. Oh, and he also protects Bradford.

Others I considered: Justin Smith (DE), Aldon Smith (DE/OLB), Kendall Hunter (RB, San Fransisco), Chris Culliver (CB), Joe Staley (LT), Brandon Mebane (DT), Bobby Wagner (OLB), K.J. Wright (OLB), Richard Sherman (CB), Earl Thomas (FS), Bobby Massie (OT), Calais Campbell (DE/DT), Darnell Dockett (DE/DT), Patrick Peterson (CB), Michael Floyd (WR), Daryl Washington (OLB/MLB), and Sam Acho (OLB/DE).

Laurinaitis

Bradford, Long, Quinn, Jackson (depending on how they feel about his age) are all guys that I think people would want to grab.

Every team in the NFC West would grab Bradford though, I don't doubt that for a second.

I'd have to go Peterson, Fitz and either Willis (MLB is not a big need) or Mike Iupati (big need)

Fitz, Willis, Aldon Smith.

I don't think there is an offensive lineman good enough to justify taking over these guys.

Lunbar, Willis, JL is probably the best LB group in the league, or near it.

DL becomes completely beastly: Quinn, Smith, Long + Langford and Brockers

Secondary benefits from the strength from the front seven, in addition to the rookie additions.

The Defense would quickly shape up and becomes a really good unit, provided the rookies pan out okay.

Offensively, there is no greater need than WR. It takes all our players and shifts them down a spot...we can stretch the feild and give Danny some space, convert on third downs, ect.

I still don't know about the OL, but I can't say any other OL men are elite in the NFCW.
