In game #1 the packers did it on 1 TD drive, but lost the game. In game #2 the chargers did it almost the whole game and Beat the 'Hawks!....Simply put, Run an up-tempo, no huddle, fast-paced O and don't allow them to substitute, or rotate their D players. they get Gas'd, and Beat!! in two games GB and SD have shown the NFL just how to get to the SB Chumps!:D Agree? Disagree? Opine!

Unfortunately the rams coaching staff never want to run a fast paced no huddle offense

Yep. That's what I thought GB would continue to do. It seemed like they still tried doing that later, but their weak OL couldn't hold up.

Why didnt' it work for Denver in the SuperBowl? They run a fair amount of up tempo offense. Manning is quite good at it.

Control the clock and stop the run.

We mapped out the game plan last season when we almost beat them with Clemens. Stack the box, play tight man coverage, and run the ball on them. The key is not to try to go out and beat them, we go out and force them to beat us. Capitalize on mistakes more that way.

Fear not the loudmouth. GB absolutely crippled themselves by advertising they were only using half the field.

IMO Seahawks fancy their selves a bully team. They like too try and muscle you. If you punch them in the mouth they don't like it. If you keep punching them in the mouth they get rattled.

This only works if your O can sustain drives. You have to be able to run effectively to open up the pass, if you get to pass happy they will eventually get you to 2nd and long then 3rd and long and get you with the pass rush. As long as you can run the ball just run clock and as someone else mentioned force them to play catch up, they are built to run clock get the lead and play tough D, they dont have the QB or OL to be successful throwing the ball without the run game.

That's one way. The other way is to do it like the Rams when they almost won last year, beat them at their own game. Slow the pace of the game down and beat them up front at the LOS on both sides of the ball.

Yeah when GB had that drive last week Seattle didn't look like they stood a chance. That said, you've got to be careful to not turn it over. As with any fast paced offense, if you give it back to the other team you're gonna be in trouble.

How about attacking the hell out of Sherman with a high level of success I didn't see any jaw jacking from Sherman.

If a team executes, there's any number of ways to beat Seattle. San Diego found ONE way to do it. St. Louis may have another, but we won't know that for 5 weeks.

But, yes, if ANY team runs a really fast paced Offense (like Chip Kelly's O in Philly), then the D will get gassed.

As for Denver running a fast paced O? Not really. Complex, maybe, but not fast. And Manning does TONS of sight adjustments and audibles, often waiting until right before the play clock is about to expire before starting the play. He may run the same personnel package for a number of plays and do different things with them, so technically it's a "no huddle", but it's the slowest no huddle in football.

Only 6 touches by Lynch yesterday. If he's not getting his share of the touches their offense doesn't work. It's built around making opposing defenses stack the box to stop him then they hit you with play action. As San Diego proved yesterday if you keep the ball away from their offense and score points they can be beaten. Time of possession was 48:00 - 12:00 in favor of San Diego.

Missing Clady was huge for Denver. They also had no Von Miller. And a horrid secondary and a blah D-line. That's why they lost.

And yea, Denver's no huddle is super slow.

Chargers have tempo and guys up front to shred the Hags.

Well, and the DL for Denver kept doing it wrong.

There was NO contain. I mean at all. They kept immediately collapsing on any play they thought might be a running play...which meant that any DE could be taken out with a TE and the OT could pull or even just take off. Can't tell you how many times the OT would just take off and immediately be in the second level while the TE just tucked that DE inside and the Seattle ball carrier was off to the races with no contain. Play after play. That was partly coaching, too.

I sure hope they don't make that mistake twice...Seattle going 1-2 to start the season would be sweet.
