...while I was reading those tweets that have been posted in the Training Camp thread.

Really, I did! Tears of joy for the fact that NFL football is back and that MY Rams are back!

A little background info might help. I have been a fan since 1968. We all know things have been tough these past few decades. But I'll tell you something, I have this feeling. Been having it since the end of last season and then this feeling really came on strong just after this years draft.

This is our year! We are ready! I am only one of 3 Rams fans at my work and you all know the humiliation we have to suffer through. Well not this year! I am coming out loud and proud for my Rams and everyone knows it! When I'm asked what makes me so sure of the Rams success I just tell them I can feel it and soon you will see it. I haven't been this pumped since Jim Everetts rookie season and the third game of the '99 season!

GOOD GAWD! THIS will be a season to remember. Mark my words, write it down, save the link. Whatever the hell you want, just remember you were at the very beginning of a dynasty.

Now let me go find some more camp reports so I can start crying again.

OH! and by the way, I came from that other site (pd). Why did I wait so long?

Thanks Bro's

I started to cry
Which started the whole world laughing
Oh if I'd only seen
That the joke was on me

Welcome to the ROD Veteran! (y) :welcome:  :sup: :lifting: :seizure:
Better late than never bro. Good to see you've decided to come to the best Rams forum on Earth and now the joke's on the PD. ;)
This is a great community filled with many posters, most of whom have a great sense of humor. We use blue font when we're just joking around so if you come across something in that font color don't take it at face value.

For a solitary animal egoism is a virtue that tends to preserve and improve the species: in any kind of community it becomes a destructive vice.

That's how I felt when they opened the Dome. My brother in law was a state rep and got me club seats. I cried in the lot as I entered the facility. This offseason feels like 99. The first time was at the half when we were beating the Steelers in 79. Hope we are right this time Bro.

Definitely feel you, bro. I'm a Rams fan who just happens to live in St. Louis. I totally feel you, bro. I hope that you get the satisfaction that you want from knowing that this - is - our - year.

On another note, thank you so much for your service. I appreciate it a ton.

Alan, thanks. I've been lurking here for awhile now so I'm familiar with the cast of characters and the usual suspects.

Cudos on the Bee Gees vid. Barry, Maurice, Robin and Andy. Only Barry is left now. Sad. I love the Bee Gees (pre Saturday Night Fever) when all they sang was sad songs. Really, check them out. I don't think they did one upbeat song prior to Saturday Night Fever! I also love watching Barry play that nice Ovation.

Yet I digress, this is a Rams forum. Not a music appreciation class. Funny how I can't even look at some of the threads on the "other" site any longer. Just bores me to death. But here, ah yes, real football talk!

You all take care and thanks again for the welcome,

Veteran Ram

believe it or not, a friend of mine at my job in columbus ohio is a ram fan from the 70's as well. what are the odds ? makes football season more enjoyable being able to talk football with another fan.

I am equally excited.

Let's stay strong thru adversity. We're not winning every game, and when we lose, the sky ain't falling.

Agreed. I have all the old stuff they did in my CD collection. :)

We vets have to stick together. I'm retired Air Force. Almost 21 years. Retired in 1991.
