Yeah, personally I think he might actually be the real deal.

I like the kid. I believe he's going to be great and I think he will convince most people THIS season...

People don't realize how good of a game Goff had. If Quick catches a few passes right to him Goff's stat line could look really impressive not to mention the extra possible yards gained with drives extended if the balls are caught.

What really stands out to me are four things:

1 How he throws the slant.
Goff throws a perfectly placed slant that gets the ball in perfect running position for the Wr. This is something that really stands out on his Cal tape and was on display last night.

2 How he reads the field.
Goff quickly works through progressions and finds open Wr's where other Qb's don't. As Fisher says " Jared Sees". This is perhaps his greatest trait and marks the great ones, being able to read a defense.

3 How quickly the ball comes out
Watch the slant to Quick or the TD to Brown and notice the ball coming out and getting on the WR before the defense can react.

4 Touch
So underrated but Goff throws a ball that gets out quick but appears to have a sense of Grace to it. The WR has a second to get his hands up and adjust to it. Goff really excels at getting the ball out quick but without unnecessary fire behind it. The Goal is throwing a catchable ball not showing arm strength. This is where Bradford and others constantly ran into trouble. There is a sense of rhythm and timing that has to come with every pass depending on each WR and route. And Goff shows a high level of patience and sophistication in his approach to throwing the ball.

This is a highly talented QB folks. An Elite QB and the next great one. Mark it down.

I like him too, think he will be our Franchise QB for better than a decade, but .............. he's not ready to start today. Once he gets the nod, he'll be very successful and be here for a very long time. I see many play-offs ahead with him leading.

I like him too but not as the starter right now. He will be great if given the coaching and the time to develop.

Patience Grasshopper! We've got something with this kid. He just needs to shed the dander and sport the feathers soon!

I hope he succeeds, as a Rams fan. But I'm saving the man crush stuff until he proves he can win at the NFL level.

21 pass attempts later... I am still a Goff fan.

I still think he could start week 1.
