I say we rescind the offer to Jake Long by close-of-business on Monday and put Sebastian Vollmer on a plane for St Louis Tuesday morning. If the guy can't make a decision, we'll make it for him. He's tying-up our entire FA process, and it's time to move-on if he can't committ, one way or the other.

Vollmer said he's not doing anything with his contract until Long signs. Although I suppose if we pulled our offer it wouldn't really matter. I'd say give him another day. People say to give him a break because it's a big decision, but seriously. I've made bigger decisions in less time. Sometimes you just have to stop dipping your toes and jump in.
