Can I assume the Rams will attempt to trade him or could Sean McVay be thinking of ways to utilize him with Cooks, Woods, Kupp and company? I can imagine that Cooks and Austin could provide some spark/fireworks for the Rams offense!

He costs us just about nothing at this point. Will it reduce his role? Probably. But the possibility of someone taking the top off with someone electric with open space? Could be dynamic... At no cost long term

With his adjustment to his contract it doesn't one bit. He'll be valuable once again this season but I have a feeling he's going to be more of a factor this year tbh.

I bet Tavon has a much better year than last season and performs closer to two years ago, and perhaps better with good offensive coaching for the first time in his career. I think he will again be used primarily as a RB and decoy, with a few more targeted pass plays here and there to keep the tricks working.

If we are trading a WR solely to improve our draft position, it is likely to be Pharoh Cooper. He's an all-pro returner with 2 years left on his rookie deal. I could see a package involving him and our 3rd rounder that nets us a mid-level 2nd rounder. We are on the hook for Tavon anyway next year (and his trade value is probably minimal with his contract). If Pharoh is traded, Tavon can return kicks. It wouldn't make me happy, but it could make sense if we are heading into the draft with needs at OLB/edge.

This works if the draft Dante .Pettit. He kills as a returner. Tavon dances too much.

But in all seriousness I think tavon finds a role next year as the gamebreaker type

Tavon still has a role with this team and makes defenses honest when it comes to the run game. I wouldn't trade him.
