Everyone knows we have too many good players on the line, why would anyone do the favor of sending Snead a draft pick for a player he'd be forced to cut anyway?
QUOTE]

Because there will be multiple teams going after him? Sam should have been drafted much sooner, other coaches were cowards. Some teams like the Cowboys are desperate for d line help. I can see them sending a late pick to prevent another team from claiming one of ours first. And why trade Hayes? The guy took a pay cut, and a playing time cut basically to stay here and he's a huge part of our rotation. We could get a mid round pick for him, but he's worth more to the Rams.

To me Westbrooks has pretty much made the team due to his versatility. Sam has proven that he belongs and could still make the team due to injury or being put on the Practice Squad.

Interesting thought was something Marshall Faulk said at the end of the game. He mentioned how teams could be looking for a specialist like Michael Sam who's one job would be to rush the Quarterback and thus the Rams could trade for him.

It will be interesting to see what happens come Saturday. But one thing for sure they can not let Westbrooks go he will be as good as gone.

Westbrooks has looked really good and can't be cut.

Might come down to a numbers game with Sam. How many RBs we keeping? DBs? Will we be adding backup OL help since we have been banged up? 3 QBs?

Hopefully it is only about football.

Trade Sam to Dallas . . . makes some sense. Rams think Sam was worth a middle round pick that they were lucky enough to get in the 7th . . . if they could turn that to a 5,and get him to a 4-3 team, it's a win-win. Turn a 7 to a 5 next year.Heck, Skins could use to positive pub and a backip 3-4 rusher to backup Karrington and Orakpo. Getting the first openly gay player may calm the storm: Sam for COusins.

No way they trade Cousins for Sam.......that would be insane.
