They have some strengths throughout their defense.

I'd say they have a pair of corners. And you can't discount their rush.
I know who they are.

So I say again.

Y'all worry too much.
We'll come out slingin'it
and ain't shit they can do about it.

I was worried about the Cowboys and Seahawks games. I'm not worried about this one. I think it'll be relatively comfortable in the end.

Hope none of the Rams staff or players feel that way..I'm pretty sure they don't..

And I'll say again.

I'd love to eat crow and hope I do. For clarification, I don't think it's impossible to go out and sling it all over them. But I do think that running the ball will be a priority.

Lastly, as I said, I'm just nervous about this matchup.

Two words.

Man coverage.

Woods and Watkins (W²) will get their taste, but this is gonna be the Higbee/Austin/Kupp show. FEASTING on the underneath zones this week. I also expect Gurley to surpass 100 yds receiving. If McVay schemes this like I think he will, y'all have nothing to worry about. Unless execution problems and/or turnovers derail everything. But that's a worry every coach has every week. Shit outside their control.

The NFL’s Game of the Week Involves … Jared Goff and Blake Bortles?
BY KEVIN CLARK

Los Angeles Rams at Jacksonville Jaguars

If the Jaguars win: The Rams and Jaguars are playing the game of the week. Repeat: The Rams and Jaguars are playing the game of the week.

The chances of the Jaguars making the playoffs before the season, according to ESPN’s probability data? You guessed it—roughly about 16 percent. In other words, if an outcome has a 16 percent chance of happening, it is 100 percent going to happen..

I wrote about probability’s tough stretch earlier this year. Criticizing win probability makes you sound like G.O.B. Bluth when he says, “I heard the jury’s still out on science.” But I’m glad all these crazy sports things are happening. I want the Jaguars to win the Super Bowl. And guess what … they … might?

Earlier this week, I wrote about the Jaguars’ innovative “ignore the quarterback position” approach—something I genuinely think can get them into the playoffs if they stick to it. Especially with some of the amazing pass defense they’re playing:

If the Rams win: After Sunday, these teams will, barring a tie (a low probability event, i.e. a certainty), combine for as many wins as they had all of last season with seven.

If Los Angeles wins, a few things happen—first of all, it’ll leapfrog Seattle in the division. But more importantly, if Jared Goff can throw on this secondary, it might be his best act as a pro quarterback. He’ll have to make throws to win, but expect a lot of Todd Gurley as well.

Despite the Jags’ ferocious defensive line, you can run on them. Jacksonville is allowing the most yards per rushing attempt in the NFL with 5.4. I found the below chart interesting. Some of the Jags’ worst holes match up with Gurley’s best. Look for a lot of runs wide and to the right.

Rams came out flat after a big win against dallas. The jaguar will do the same after there big win over Pittsburg. Rams fix red zone issues and defense continues its game to game improvement. Rams win 31 to 13.

I haven't liked this game since the schedule came out.
It's a very long road trip sandwiched in between 2 division rivals. Making matters worse are the logistics of "packing 2 bags" because the Rams will be shipping off to London from Jax. Have either Phillips or McVay worked an overseas game before?

We should have beaten the Hawks, no excuses. We are better than that loss, which should be proven throughout the season if true. I think we have a stronger team than the Jags and should win. Law of averages approach. Just execute, Rams and screw all of the other cr@p.

Last week Ben Roethlisberger kept trying to force it to Antonio Brown. It helped my fantasy team, but 50 something pass attempts instead of going with Le'Veon Bell created those turnovers. And it's not like Ben made bad throws, they were passed tipped or deflected, etc.

Sooooo my point is...FEED GURLEY.

Steelers vs. Jags, 55 pass attempts, loss.
Rams vs. Hawk, 47 attempts, loss.
Both opposing teams have great passing D, hopefully a lesson was learned.
