I have had the steak rub, chipotle rub and the hot sauce called Stuicidal (level 3).

I did the steak rub on a sirloin that was about 2 inches think, angus. I didn't put it on super thick but it was much more than sprinkled on. It's excellent and I'm planning on copping a couple of strips and making dinner for a friend, this time I'm going to put it on slightly thicker. The flavor is hard to describe but it really works well with beef.

The hot sauce has some bite to it but also has flavor not just heat. Can use it on anything you want some heat and taste on.

The star of the three is the without a doubt the chipotle rub. I had it on chicken breasts and it was fantastic! I rubbed them down with a fairly generous portion and baked them, three breasts. Oh shit, this stuff is good. It literally glazed over the meat and the flavor and the little bite were awesome. It's one of those flavors that you feel all over inside your mouth. Get some of this stuff.

I have the blueberry sage glaze still unopened and I'm going to try that.......gotta find the right meal for it.

Side note.....Stu was in Tampa as you guys may know, and he made ribs. I forgot what he rubbed on them but let me tell you they were delicious. Mac made a joke that he couldn't stop eating them! None of us could! Perfectly cooked, fall off the bone and the rub created a thin bark that was fantastic!

There is a reason that dude wins awards!!!

Hey... I made those ribs !!!

I used Stu's Hog Wired Rib Rub on them. In fact, Stu actually applied the rub on the ribs. But I was the one who got up at 4:30 am and put em on the smoker.

I use all his BBQ rubs and I swear by them. Been using them for several years now. His rub for pulled pork is also kick ass. As are his BBQ sauces.

On a whole turkey or what?

I'm undecided what I want to do with it but that sounds good........how did you do it?

Maybe I'll stash the jar until Thanksgiving and do a turkey......

Please note - I corrected Les and others several times on this. Selassie made those ribs while I was nursing a hangover. Dude had already had the ribs pretty much finished and had already gone to the store before I peeled my eyelids open. I think I woke to the sounds of Rasta laughing. Yeah - if anyone thinks my contribution to the tailgate was much, I have to dispel that thought process. George, Cammy, and Tyler pretty much had it so Becky and I merely hopped in the car and followed.

And yeah - the rubs and sauces are available at www.pigfeathers.com for those interested.

Too funny Les. George was the pit master here.

But thanks for the words on the Chipotle Rub. We use it on just about everything ourselves. Pan fried potatoes with Chipotle Rub and eggs is a staple in our place.

We do just a diced potato (like home fried potatoes) with a little olive oil and then when the potatoes start to get soft, we sprinkle Chipotle Rub on them and sear them harder at that point so they get a decent crust on them. Some of the best breakfast potatoes going. We also do them as a side with dinner at times. Great along side a chop slathered with Blue Berry Sage sauce. You can use the potatoes to soak up the rest of the sauce. Mmmmmmmmmmmm!
