I actually Googled this the other day. Zack Thomas of the Panthers has had 3 acl surgeries on the same knee and is now playing the best football of his career.
They were three major surgeries. 3 acl tears same as Bradfords injury. With a little bit of luck I think Bradford can come back and be the bamf we all thought he could be.
I wouldn't know were to put Sam's odds at, until I see the O-Line fixed! But, because I Like him I'll put them at 65/35 right now!I basically view Sam coming back and being able to have a pro-bowl season now as 50/50. His knee is either going to hold up or it won't. At all. And he'll be a spot backup the rest of his career

Sam had the ACL and MCL on the first one and just the ACL on the second one. Is that what you are thinking of? Because I'm not getting the third ACL.They were three major surgeries. 3 acl tears same as Bradfords injury. If!! it were in our SportsBook, and IF the Line were Fixed, probably 1/2 of it! I woud need to save some for betting on the games and side Bets!!OK how much of that billion you're sitting on would you bet?
Sam did not have a mcl tear. Maybe Your thinking jake long. I was talking about Thomas Davis when I said he had three surgeries.Sam had the ACL and MCL on the first one and just the ACL on the second one. Is that what you are thinking of? Because I'm not getting the third ACL.
I was about to say holy shit, Zack Thomas is still playing? lol but I saw that you meant Thomas Davis.I actually Googled this the other day. Zack Thomas of the Panthers has had 3 acl surgeries on the same knee and is now playing the best football of his career.
I want Sam to come back and play well so much. He's a great guy and has been through a lot the past few years. Way too talented to end up a waste.I want to bring Sam back. Call my a mom or a fan boy, but the guy has too much talent just to throw away. He spent most of his career here on a crap roster, now that the team is good he is hurt. It sucks, but I hope we get to see him next year lead us to the playoffs.
There's zero proof of this...but i tend to agree with you. I was surprised at how early he began throwing and practicing last summer. As a fan i chalked it up to modern medicine and Sam being a young man. There was quite a bit of pressure on the team to get Sam ready to go. Same with J.Long.Sam's issue wasn't that he got hurt again, but rather he came back entirely too fast
