Happy Total Solar Eclipse Day

There was a lunar eclipse a few years ago, ya must have missed it !! :sleepz:

Oh, I didn't miss a thing. You must have heard about the lady who asked her son's school (on Facebook) to postpone the eclipse party because her son couldn't make it that day

Are any of you lucky humans going to be viewing in a totality zone?
Only 62% coverage here in AZ.

I do remember the eclipse of '91 here. It was pretty dramatic. It was in July and the temps were in the typical 110's and the temp drop was INCREDIBLE.

We had totality for 1 minute 55 sec. The best part was we were on a high hill that overlooked a wide valley and as the eclipse progressed you could see all the photocells turn on lights throughout the valley. Had a nice 360 degrees sunset too.

In the late 1960's we'd call this event a "Happening!!" But everyone was on drugs, so what did we know!!
