I am going to say that the Rams futility is all because of me. In 2004 I signed up for DTV and the ticket. We all know what has happened with the team since then.

Well I am cancelling DTV this season and going with Fios strictly for money saving reasons. I will be saving almost 150 a month not including the cost of the Sunday ticket.

Reserve your playoff tickets now !!!!

I want to be the first to thank you for your sacrifice Rhody!! I have to admit that I am surprised that FiOS is cheaper than DTV. I called DTV and threatened to cancel on them last year and they basically gave me everything but porn for $80/mnth, lolz.

wasnt really DTV..was more for the unlimited internet... right now using a hotspot that allows me 5 GB a month which is $50 plus $10 a GB overage

Home phone, TV and unlimited internet will run me 154 or so with Fios... same as DTV bill alone now

My friend, I have a yearly tradition along with some friends of mine, we call every July and threaten to cancel. I have never paid more than 1/2 price and most years I get it free.

Last year I out did myself, after I called my bill went DOWN $35/month AND I got Sunday ticket, ST "to go" and HBO.

EVERY. SINGLE. JULY. $$$ Ring in the savings baby!!

Step one, IMMEDIATELY ask for the "retention" department.
Step 2, tell them flat out you want to cancel ST because its gotten too expensive and you always see where they give it away for free to "new" subscribers and "I have been a loyal subscriber for ___ years!"
Step 3, sit back and let THEM tell YOU what they gonna do for you!
Step 4, come back here and give RFIP his props!!! :ROFLMAO:

Honestly, its to the point now where I simply call each year and just say "help me out with the price of ST" and they always do.

Yes sir. I got irritated with my DTV and Sirius charges, so I called them both on my way to the lake last JULY and haggled down to a fraction of what they were. Saved myself over $1300/yr!! Already set an appointment for the same time this year.....

I'm not there in my logic, yet. I'm just trying to figure out if STL should go OT or WR with our first pick. Matthews is the guy I think they like the most.
