GSOT Part 2?

I guess I am overly excited (maybe too optimistic!?) about the additions of Long, Cook, Austin and Stedman to the Rams offense but I really think this offense has the potential to be the best offense the Rams have had since the GSOT days! And, maybe this team won't be that explosive but if the Rams can get their running game (Pead, Richardson, Ganaway, ???) on track and their OL healthy I really think the Rams offense will be dangerous with all their receivers (Austin, Stedman, Givens, Quick, Cook, Kendricks, Pettis, etc) they will have on their roster this season! I honestly think the Rams offense will be very, very good next season AND they ARE young!

To me; Quick is the key here. We invested the 33 overall pick in 2012... if he delivers on that investment... Katy bar the door.

Cook and Long are established. We know the boost they will bring. Same with Givens in some regards... he was good and will only be better.

Tavon Austin... even though he'll have an NFL adjustment period like all rookies... he's going to contribute right away based on those freakish physical tools.

Bailey may take some time, just like Pettis and most every WR before him.

So... hell yeah we've got something to be excited about! Quick being key to reaching the dreamy potential we all hope for.

Don't you have to have a "mad Martz" in order to have a GSOT? More importantly, don't you have to be willing to put your QB in harms way?

I dont think so. I dont think there are any teams outside of the NFCW that even remotely have the Rams offense on their radar as a threat.

Nope! The media guys have been stroking the '9ers and 'Hawks way too much. We have to decisively take out heavyweights like the original Dirty Birds and the '9ers before they even pause to consider we might really have a serious team.

However, as you indicated, you can be damn sure the '9ers and 'Hawks are paying full attention to the arms buildup in Saint Louis.

I agree. Respect the past...and let's see our offense earn a nickname first before we decide to crown them. They certainly have the potential, but right now there's a lot of teams ahead of us.

I totally agree with this. The GSOT should not be taken lightly...that was 3 seasons of unprecedented offense

I was thinking of saying it without coming off as rude and you nailed it. I hate when people reference the GSOT. Let it be known that there will only be 1 GSOT and that belongs to the 1999-2001 Rams. There is no part 2, part 3, etc.
