Florio is a bit overdramatic in his assessment, but one thing does make sense: Robinson's career will ultimately be judged by his value vs. other players available at the time. I disagree, however, that Bortles is his comparison. In my opinion, we will be comparing Robinson's career path to that of Jake Matthews, and if Jake Matthews does indeed have a smoother transition, becomes a difference maker earlier and ultimately performs at a higher level, fans will be questioning how the Rams once again failed to maximize value in not only a draft slot, but the position on the field that the player was drafted in.
