I super stoked about our winning record win today!!! I wanted to create a discussion for what I expect there to be a ton of media coverage for this game next week.

Did they ever flex it to Sunday night?

If we beat them next week we move into the driver seat for the #2 spot and a first round bye! Haha

I pray the Panthers wreck the Viqueens next week!

Our next two games are pretty much going to be the middle of the football world, especially if we win next week!

Ps Goff > Wentz if you didn’t already know yet for those of you slow learners out there! :D

No it won't be flexed. It'll be the 1pm national game on Fox. We'll know by Tuesday if the Rams @ Squawks is flexed to SNF.

The Rams need to bring their A game. Goff needs to bring his A game. The Eagles have a great DL and can pressure the QB.

Yeah this game is a prime candidate for SNF; that'd make this the 3rd SNF game for the shecocks at home.

Wentz was trash tonight.
Overthrew and then underthrew Agholor on 2 would be TDs, coughed up a touchback, threw a duck on a critical 4th down.
That combined with their HC shitting his pants gave Seattle an easy win (as usual).
Goff had worse stats but he didn't look rattled against Seattle, Wentz was shook from the start.

These next two games will decide the Rams playoff picture. Do we deserve a playoff bye or do we deserve to sink to the wild card?

The Eagles are beatable for sure, they showed that tonight. If we play at our best I don't think it matters what they do. Can we show up and play our best football in the biggest game of the season? We didn't in Minnesota but I think we might at home.

They kind of go behind the 8-ball for the division crown if they lose to the Eagles, but the wild card looks like a real good shot..Beating the Titties and 9ers should lock up the wildcard but they'll have to be at least tied with the Hags going to their place(and beating them of course) to win the division...I usually don't talk about this crap because it's too convoluted, but a lot (most ?) here seem to think the wild card at worst is a lock. Should be but the Rams can't go to sleep at all in the last 4...

Actually I just looked again at the standings and the only teams that are a threat to the Rams are either Saints or Panthers One will win the South and the falcons and I don't really think they'll be a force coming down the stretch so the WC looks even better than I thought...The division is a lot tougher though , I think...The Eagles next week is probably the key...Win keeps it a hot race, a loss gives the Hags some breathing room

Anybody snapped that this is the Return if Chris Long? Will be interesting vs him. He’s looked decent to good the few times I’ve seen him.

Realistically, the playoffs are still only a mirage. We need at least 2 wins, potentially even 3, to make it and our remaining schedule is far from easy. We have to battle an angry Eagles team with plenty they need to prove after losing to Seattle, then travel to Seattle to play a game that will probably decide the division, then go to Tennessee to battle the Titans who are desperate to stay ahead of Jacksonville. Even the 49er game isn’t a lock because we saw them give us fits in the last game and now they actually might have a decent QB.

Hmmm, I'll half agree with you about the schedule not being very easy. But I feel that the Rams are in control of their own destiny. We would have to essentially drop 3 of the last 4 to not get in. The hardest games are coming up the next two weeks with Seattle being the hardest task. But its not out of the realm of possibility we can win against Seattle or Philly. The next two games after Seattle and Philly aren't cupcakes, but they are struggling. Titans have looked mediocre against teams that can actually score. The Niners play us tough, but the Cardinals just did that as well. Again I'll ask the same question I did about going up against the Cardinals, this time about all last four of our opponents. What is it that they can do, that we can't do? We have a running game, a quarterback, and a defense. These last four teams have the same. We are in control of our own destiny. If we lose 3 of our last 4 clearly we weren't ready. Its gut check time.

This could be a trap game. We need to make sure we're focused on this one and not the Seahawks.:D

One more win and we're likely in. Two more wins and we're basically guaranteed a spot. The Falcons are currently in the final spot, and the best they can do is 11-5. In order to get to 11-5, they have to beat the Saints twice and the Panthers once.

Basically, I think we get in with 10 wins. I think we're basically guaranteed to get in with 11 wins. I think we can do better than that.

Read Sam Farmer's article in Monday's LA Times. I just read it online. I don't know how to embed articles from one site to another so someone please do. He interviews the HC of the Cardinals and a couple of players about Goff and Wentz and the differences and similarities between them. The Cardinals have played both the Rams and the Eagles this season so they have some insight.
Anyway, this is gonna be a fun week and can't wait until Sunday.

Go Get 'Em, Rams!!

We definitely should win at least 2 of our remaining games. However, in the unlikely event that the Falcons win out and there is a three way tie at 11-5 (between the Rams, Panthers, and Falcons), then the Rams would probably be the odd team out based on conference record.

I don’t see the Falcons putting that string of wins together though.

I completely agree that we control our own destiny. There is no doubt we should win at least 2 of our last 4.

As to your question about what they have that we don’t, the Rams have everything and maybe more than these remaining teams do with the exception of Seattle. They have big game experience that our young team doesn’t quite have yet.

caaaam against the vikings d? no chance. expect to see a towel over his head all game.

.

I agree with you. Then again, I can’t figure the Panthers out.

They’ve beat some good teams; NE, Detroit, Atlanta... battled Philly close... only to look not-so-good in other games.

So, they probably lose to Minn. But, I could see a scenario where they surprise here.
