Haha. I said this before the game. Goff played lights out under Fisher there in 2016!!!!

The sad thing is that nobody is giving Goff is due coming out of this game. We were in a hole, and the kid never got rattled. He made some big throws to help us dig out of that hole. But the only narrative we have right now is the stupid non-call.

Does this surprise you at all? Even if NRC gets a pick six there, and the Rams win, Goff still wouldn’t have gotten credit. Plus the media would have found a different narrative of why the Saints lost. It makes no difference to me. We know what we have in Goff, and honestly, that’s all that matters to me.
