Had an interesting experience at the game yesterday. Heading up to the beer line at halftime at the tunnel I saw an elderly guy having a bit of a discussion with the ushers. I heard him say Hey.. I'm Jim Fassel, I need to get up to the booth. Well, that stopped me in my tracks. I gave him a look and sure as crap it was Jim Fassel, and his wife standing nearby. He looked at me and he seemed either confused or maybe he had some beers.. Anyways, I stuck my hand out and told him it was an honor to meet him, he said howdy and seemed relieved that someone was verifying his identity to the clueless ushers. I told them who he and his son were, they then radio'd a supervisor who showed up quickly to escort him and his wife up into the press box/suite. It was kinda cool!

NICE!!!!

Gurley ran the ball 3 times once Brown got abused and he was tackled for a loss.

Again you're implying you know what the coaches did behind closed doors and you are critical of them for the roster decision they made.
Of course we're gonna agree to disagree on this one...

I will watch the Detroit game a little....then the Rams game...

I happened to turn on the game...the Rams..by accident yesterday...I happen to watch Gurley's first carry...It was after the Robert Woods drop on first down. We ran right...right behind Brown....and it appeared either he didn't know the play...like which way it was supposed to go...or...OR...he didn't know the snap count...on the 2nd play of the game...of the first game of the year.
I'm not implying I know what the hell goes on behind closed doors...All I do know is what I witnessed with these eyes...Looking at Brown...looking at Havenstein...then comparing them to G-Rob...it goes back to ...if they're so good...any good at all, move em over to left tackle for a bit...spell Whitworth with either of them...and if the coaches DON'T see that they're inferior players....then yeah, I got a problem with anyone that assumes THEY know anything MORE about football than ME.

And why do I care in the first game about our right side? Well, the season starts in a month...we have a 2nd year QB...that needs confidence...needs to believe that he's secure....same with our 3rd year running back...he's gotta believe some holes will be opened....otherwise...all the weapons...great game plans....all the offseason work...the schemes....none of it will work...without a cohesive line in front of them...and another promising season gets washed down the drain....and it could have been avoided...if we just kept our best players...

Good of you to take care of the parents of the NFL's best special teams coach.

All I know is our 3rd string QB (Rush) just became our backup. Keller Moore can take his goofy face and go kill himself.

Rico Gathers, the Baylor basketball player who hasn't played football since 8th grade, scored his 2nd TD in 2 games. He just might be our TE#2 if he keeps it up.
That kid Rush looked pretty good. I didnt watch the HOF game, but I guess he was pretty decent there too.

Good job MJ on making PFF team defense of the week.
