Teams are just going to stop the running game with Bradford at QB. Bradford just throws too many check downs and doesn't take any shots. I think with a good running game, Bradford can play good football. But teams are (and should be) stuffing the run and forcing him to make throws... He can complete the short throws, but doesn't take enough shots imo. That seems like the book on Bradford to me. The Eagles first 2 weeks reminded me of the Rams 2013 season.

As I said on Twitter.. Bradford hasn't lost his eye rolling ability, and he has that dazed look down to a science

Bradford has not looked good so far, but I agree with one board member that he has to learn a new offense and quickly. What works in his favor thought is that the NFC East is not a tough division--especially with Romo out for some time--maybe the entire year. Never been a Cowboy fan due to the playoff rivalry with the Rams back in the 1970s and 1980s but I don't like to see serious injuries to anyone.

Early estimate for Romo? Eight weeks
Posted by Mike Florio on September 20, 2015

The Cowboys lost running back DeMarco Murray in the offseason, receiver Dez Bryant in Week One, and quarterback Tony Romo in Week Two. Bryant’s expected absence has become a hot topic in league circles, but it likely will be nudged aside in the aftermath of Sunday’s win at Philadelphia.

Per a source with knowledge of the situation, Romo’s estimated absence initially has been pegged at eight weeks.

More will be known as the week unfolds. NBC Sports Medicine Analyst Mike Ryan tells PFT that the location and stability of the fracture will be the key to the treatment plan. Most fractures, according to Mike Ryan, occur in the middle third of the clavicle.

Eventually, Romo’s availability will be a weekly topic of conversation, with the football-following world breathlessly awaiting news regarding the outcome of the latest CT scan of the bone. And the same thing will be happening, possibly at the same time, with Dez Bryant and the broken bone in his foot.

Cowboys don’t have many options at quarterback
Posted by Mike Florio on September 20, 2015

The bad news for the Cowboys is that they only have two quarterbacks on the active roster: Tony Romo and Brandon Weeden. The good news, if there is any, is that they have two quarterbacks on the practice squad: Kellen Moore and Jameill Showers.

The reality for the Cowboys is that there aren’t a lot of other options.

Christian Ponder, a first-round pick in 2011, is the biggest name on the open market. A certain SEC Network employee also is available, as is Jason Campbell, Matt Flynn, Rex Grossman, Josh Johnson, and Jordan Palmer.

So, basically, there’s no one available — unless they want to try to swing a trade with a team like the Bills, who have three quarterbacks.

Just read this.........

In the first half, Bradford led the Eagles’ offense to just 21 total yards. That’s the lowest total in the first half by an NFL team since Bradford did it with the St. Louis Rams in 2013. The New York Giants also posted 18 first-half yards in Week 3 of the 2013 season. No one has done it since. That’s because it’s hard to do. The Eagles could get only one first down in the entire half, and that came due to a pass interference penalty by the Cowboys.

..........wow

Bradford didn't look good today, but again, negative rushing yards? They looked very sharp in preseason. Something is definitely amiss there in Philly.

And they'll laugh themselves all the way to the bank because of it. All while you worry about somebody's karma.

Chip Kelly: Everything, including Bradford, will be evaluated
Posted by Josh Alper on September 20, 2015

The Eagles offense flopped in grand fashion on Sunday against the Cowboys as their 21 first-half yards, three turnover and total inability to run the ball helped the Cowboys to a 20-10 win that came despite the loss of Tony Romo to a fractured left clavicle and 18 penalties that would normally make it difficult to win a football game on the road against a division rival.

When the Eagles offense played the way it did on Sunday, however, all things are possible.

Coach Chip Kelly, who both designed the scheme and hand-picked the players to fill the roster, will bear most of the heat for the performance. At his postgame press conference, Kelly said that the Eagles won’t win games if they can’t run the football and that offensive line changes will be considered after the team ran for seven yards on 17 carries. Some will surely suggest that the Eagles shouldn’t have gotten rid of both starting guards from last year’s team, but only a souped-up DeLorean is going to make a redo possible on that front.

Kelly said that everyone involved with the offense will be evaluated, including the team’s coaches and quarterback Sam Bradford, who Kelly said he didn’t consider benching on Sunday. Bradford had a hand (or a chest, in the case of a snap that he wasn’t expecting) in all three turnovers and Mark Sanchez would get the call in the event Kelly wants to shift gears.

Bradford wasn’t good, but Kelly’s right about the team’s need to fix the run game. They are built to run the football and they’ve now picked up just 80 yards in the first two weeks. If they can’t run it better, any quarterback is going to have a hard time succeeding in Kelly’s offense.

I told y'all Bradford sucks. We'll be fine. Our defense is legit. Our next two games are Falcons and saints, which are both winnable without romo.

Sorry about the loss of your QB. Injuries suck. Brandon Weeden though? :palm:
Maybe you can talk John Kitna into coming back even at age 42...or it's...
Christian Ponder, Jason Campbell, Matt Flynn, Rex Grossman, Josh Johnson, or Jordan Palmer. :palm: :palm:
