OPENING STATEMENT:

We all expect a well played game and a Rams win today!

But; this is the NFL. Most every game in this league is closely contested. Every game is filled with mistakes and missed opportunities.

The mods are committed to protecting our safe haven from excessive negativity and any posts or topics that divide our membership.

So, if the game takes a turn to your disliking, please back away from the keyboard and rejoin the talk when a cooler head returns.

This is a message board. It should be fun. That's why we are here!

Enjoy the game everyone!

Here is what I expect from the Rams Today. For brevities sake, " Nothing short of their absolute best performance, on both sides of the ball! In all aspects of the game!!:D And I want to see this look on Manning's Face, as long as he's in the game!;)

The Shaun Hill era resumes in Week Eleven after a tentative, feeling-out Week One first half that ended in injury for the journeyman signal caller.

Our starting CB's are back and working towards getting game-tough. Our surprising rookie CB, EJ Gaines, is battling young Aaron Donald for Defensive Rookie of the Year honors. Our young crew is starting to gel with the GW defensive machinations. Chris Long is practicing again, and his understudies are helping our defense to look proud against rush & pass.

Our OL is morphing into future positional alignments as the Jake Long era as a Horn appears over & done with. Scott Wells and Davin Joseph should be following Big Jake after the season if not sooner. Tre Mason is making his mark as a RB to be reckoned with. Our young stable of receivers are starting to come into their own.

Johnny Hekker and Greg the Leg are kicking the snot out of the rock. Jake McQuiade has been so effective he's been invisible, which is about the best thing that can be said about a long snapper.

Everything is slowly rounding into shape for our Horns. We 'simply' need a QB. So what does Shaun bring as he faces off against the Denver D? Will he provide an upgrade over AD's up & down roller coaster efforts against top D's? Can he find Tavon in open space effectively enough to cause significant damage to the Denver D's confidence and draw defenders to TA, freeing up the coverage on our other fly guys . . . or vice versa? Can he find Cookie deep enough times to justify Cookie's high price tag? Can he help make Sted relevant once more? Can he inspire Kenny to become an effective, trash talking monster as he was in the pre-season?

Rally around the troops, Rammers & Rammettes! We will kill with Hill!!!

Hope I can catch the game here. I found a sports bar. 1st time in the Domoncan Republic. Pretty cool so far. This may well be another shocker game for the Rams. Good to keep all the talking heads guessing what will happen with the Rams each week.

Ughhhhhh.. RK on 101 just reported many Denver fans in town. I guess season ticket holders sold their tickets for Christmas money? He als said many were at the Blues game last night??? I didn't see them, but was too busy doing shots for the goals we scored.

I hope Hill survives Ware and Miller if nothing else. He isn't a bad dude and those big nasties could wreck him a new asshole.

I hope they at least play competitive for 3 quarters, rather than 1. Just 1 means a blowout, 3 means close, until dreaded 4th QTR comes along.

If they plan on really using Austin in any capacity, use him.

At any rate, losing won't hurt as much anymore from here on out. Means one step closer to a QB.

The only way we beat the Broncos is if we get to Manning and screw up his timing. If he sits back there all day..Well he'll do what he does to every team.

Seattle had the right recipe in the SB.

We can win this. I hope we don't blitz too much, that could be a disaster. But overall, I feel really optimistic about this one, probably more than I should be but..
