Best b-day present ever is Game of thrones starting back up tonight! I'm almost half way through book 5 and that article saying they are cutting all that stuff out (mostly from book 5 and some from 4) make me not want to finish it. That and having the end spoiled for me... But oh well the show is back!!

Interesting as usual. It sounds like Deanyrus is going to have to figure out how to regain control of her dragons. Teaming up with Tyrion and Varus should be a big help to her. Cierce has gotten to be an even bigger bitch than before.

I loved the closing scene. I can't wait to find out what Stannis thinks of Jon's arrow. It was the right thing to do nd maybe it gets the Wildlings to follow Jon now.

I dont have HBO, but last year prior to the season 4 premiere, HBO had a free weekend and a GOT marathon. So I recorded the first 3 seasons. Still dont have HBO, but what luck, free weekend again and season 4 is all recorded.

You can watch all of the shows on line at that link. It looks like you can actually watch the first four episodes of season five right now. That is something new. Usually you cannot watch until after the show airs.

I have watched the first four episodes and I have to say that the season starts off a little slow. I'm guessing the second half of the season is going to be very exciting. Also, Jon Snow is now my favorite character. I'm rooting for him a lot now.

I have really liked Jon Snow for some time now. Ever since he stepped up his leadership role at the wall. He is of high character and not afraid to make daring moves.

I was sad to see Sander Clegane die at the end of last season. I really liked his character a lot. I loved his straight forward thinking.

I also really liked Tyrion's Sellsword but I cannot recall his name. I like him in the scoundrel role that he played but not so much as some entitled noble.

Sandor may not even be dead. If you've read the fourth book, you'll know what I mean. As for Bronn (the sell-sword), he's the only character in this entire show who's started off better each season than he did before. Remember what he said to Tyrion about Lollys Stokeworth (the woman he married) in the fourth season? "Ladies fall off of their horses all the time." She's not long for this world. Not with Bronn around.

I started the books recently and they are fantastic. The Kindle Editions of the books aren't too expensive either. You can get all five for $20 on Amazon.




The intro is one of my favorite parts of the show. It's long enough that you've got time to get a beer and get mentally ready for the show.

yea that's what I'm hearing.. I didn't read them so I'm just enjoying the ride

although I didn't like the end of last episode.. hope my girl Sansa gets some sweet revenge

And it would earn the Lannisters' heads on spikes. Damn near everyone in King's Landing loves the Faith Militant, except for the royals. If Tommen ordered someone to kill them all, then everyone there would be gunning for him. It would be like the beginning of Meereen all over again, except worse.

Cersei deserves everything she gets from here on out. It's unfortunate that Tommen and Myrcella will get what they don't deserve, but that's GoT for you.

You saying the whole city would revolt? Cersei and Tommen gave the Faith Militant the power that they have. They can take it away. I'd send in the Mountain and let him kill them all and then put him down and claim that the Lannisters killed the demon!
