True enough, UCSB is a well known 'party school'.

UCLA is huge, but the girls are still plenty hot, it's a great campus and Westwood is a nice place to live, ... I know since that's where I attended in the early 70's.

I was born there in ‘68. Born Bruin!!! Went to HS near there, too and spent many a Friday and Saturday cruisin Westwood when it was the place to be in the mid 80s

Some day I hope to get there. For now, I am living it thru these shared experiences… so thanks for that!

What kind of food did you sample?

Only thing we tried was the "Pollo Verde Tamale." Kinda bland but the ingredients seemed fresh. Heard some negative things early on about the food, but from what I saw (and tasted) it seemed "better than average" for stadium food.

Great day...thanks for sharing. Where were your seats? Field level? They seem pretty dang good in the pics you shared.

We were in the second section up from the field. What can I say... we got in to the stadium extra early, so we wandered down to the lower section so we could watch the players warming up. As kickoff grew closer, our section remained only half full, and our entire row was empty. So.... well... we just stayed there. Should I feel guilty about it? Maybe. But I think my conscience will somehow survive. I figured, Stan's got plenty of $, the seats were empty and unclaimed, so might as well just ride it out and enjoy.

OMG...heck yeah. Stay in them seats until someone comes with tickets and you have to leave. Good job!
